My boyfriend and I got a large USS congress. We shared that and still took half home. This is a small place- we enjoyed the booth by the window. They serve breakfast all day and I plan to partake next time. Service was good. My only complaint is I wish they had some potato chips for sale as a side... More

You've got to tackle a battleship! I sank a chicken liver one! Sounds nasty but the slaw that was on it and the different flavors were fantastic.

Had a great lunch here on our way through town. I have to imagine everything is good on the menu. I would recommend the tiny spot of you get to this side of town. Thanks for a great belly fill.

Truth be told I was a bit mad when I showed up. Took :20 minutes to find parking, thought it was not the best place from the outside, DO NOT turn around! GREAT! Go inside, sit down! Wonderful service, friendly and helpful! I need to just shut up! Finally found parking but do be careful of timing, one side of... More

I've been to the Black Sheep a handful of times and each time after I take my first bite of which ever Battleship sandwich I ordered, I always ask myself why don't I come here more often. Last Saturday was no exception. My fiancée and I ordered 2 halves - one of the Fried Chicken Livers and one of the... More

This place is small and I would consider it a hole in the wall. The difference between this place and other similar places is the cleanliness. The place was fairly clean including the restroom. That's a big plus for me. It's so small so we had a short, but reasonable wait. We went for brunch so I ordered coffee. It... More

We discovered this restaurant through a AAA Tourbook, and are we ever glad that we did. The Black Sheep restaurant is a small bohemian/hip-like restaurant located just off I-95 in Richmond, VA. Eclectic framed art adorns the walls in the dining room and the restroom. The restaurant is very cozy, seats about 30-40 people, and serves breakfast/brunch, lunch, and dinner.... More

The sandwiches are too giant. The soup was great and spicy. The t-shirt was good enough I came back to pay for it when they left it off the bill. What a great neighborhood hot spot with great grub and greater people.

A small foodie's restaurant with comfort foods and small wait for brunch on a weekend. We had a ten minute wait so walked around back to the outdoor patio and ordered coffee- which was basic. When we were seated indoors in the restaurant, we ordered three entrees between the two of us as we couldn't decide, and wanted an appetizer.... More

First of all let me start by saying that the establishment is a cute little place. It opens for breakfast at 10:00 (Which seems to be on par for the area.). The wait staff was quite attentive and keep the the coffee cup filled. We just thought that the food we ordered was spiced a little heavy with pepper. The... More
