Calm place. No crowd. Good music. Kind people. Good mocha latte. Right on Cary street, RVA downtown.

Ate here a few weeks ago and our hour long lunch was not long enough for them to get our food to us in a timely manner. Also, they overcharged us yet made us feel like it was a huge inconvenience for them to make it right. The woman working the counter was very short and not very helpful. The... More

If you can't get hot soup right after waiting 30 minutes, you should not be in business. Ridiculous! My husbands 9.00 sand which was a joke too. The tables were wobbling. Had to order at a counter that was covered in dust. Horrible

Ate a great grilled cheese here while at a conference! The location is small, but the food is good. The live music was a nice touch if not a bit too loud for the small space.

Stopped in at 7:40 pm and had the cranberry bleu salad with spinich and small toasted bread squares. It was very fresh and we ate in quickly as they were closing at 8pm. They open at 6:30 am for breakfast. The cafe is casual and I would go back.

There are a variety of sandwiches and salads on the menu from grilled cheese with apple sandwich to hummus. I had /2 turkey sandwich, expecting it sliced turkey but it ground up turkey on bread. It was ok for a light dinner but nothing special.

We stopped here for breakfast. The breakfast sandwhiches are great--not too much filling and delightful bread. The lox are chopped and topped with capers making it especially easy to eat. (I never thought to try that.) Fast service and good food. It's a perfect stop in Richmond.

They serve GF bread as needed. I ordered the egg scramble with white cheddar and thyme, maybe the best eggs I've ever had. Not sure why the flavours work so well together but num. Served with a small piece of toast and some apple, delicious but pricey for what you get. We sat at a nice open air table. Coffee... More
