The barbecue is average, I've had better ones in a lot of places but this place is a good pick if you're taking a break from driving and does not want to eat Mcdonald's or subway. it's off I-95 south and has good ample parking space. The place is small and has 3-4 tables inside and has outdoor seating. The... More

While traveling south on I-95, I was looking for something different to eat. When stopped for gas I mentioned to a local that there had been a sign for a BBQ place as I exited. He told me that it was about 1/2 mile further down the road but that it was worth the drive. He also mentioned that if... More

"Piggy in the Parlor" is what we call ourselves when it's time to chow down. Found the restaurant on chance, on the outside it appeared "dive-like" or looked like any other good southern Mom-n-Pop restaurant; it did not disappoint. We were able to sit down, have someone come to our table and take our orders. I clarified that they take... More

I drove by this restarant several times and finally stopped for lunch one day. A small restaurant with approximately 10 tables and it was absolutely packed I was able to pick up a table once one group finished and the table. I ordered a sweet iced team and chose the minced BBQ platter platter. After a few minutes the plate... More

Awful all around. How could anyone give a better rating? Tiniest portion of beef brisket - hard, stuck-together ends due to microwaving this dry, over-cooked, tasteless meat. Served on styrofoam, plastic and/or paper w/horribly-tasting instant mashed potatoes. No BBQ flavor to speak of either. TO top it off, the owner argues w/the customer that it's not microwaved and they're not... More

We chose this little roadside bar-b-que because it seemed like an independent, family-run place. Inside is small and simple, but the service is great. Friendly lady on the cash register. Our food was delivered much faster than it would have been at McDonald's, for sure. And, most importantly, the bar-b-que tastes good. (We had the chopped pork version.) Their "house"... More

The BBQ is great the sides are delicious including the hush puppies that are delicious. You could actually consider them dessert. Greens, fried okra, bbq beans and string beans and standard fare and very good.

I like good BBQ. Try getting good BBQ up north. So when in Rome . . . . I got the pork short ribs, one half pound. The price is cheap, but one half pound is way too much. Next time 1/4 pound. The BBQ is delicious. They have their own sauce. I need to take my wife there. It... More

I literally was on my return from Texas and was still lingering for some good BBQ. I saw a sign advertising this place and followed the directions to it. I ordered a sliced-beef BBQ sandwich; it was not good. The meat was dry and appeared to have been reheated on a griddle; the meat was not moist and juicy as... More
