Best soul food I've had so far in Richmond hands down....the yams are everything!! Sometimes I go just for those. I wish the establishment was bigger its always so crowded however Mama Js never disappoints and the service is always superb!

We stopped by half way through drive from SC to NY. We were tired but the smells from the kitchen got us excited. Fried chicken was worth th wait and the drive. Place is a bit chaotic and expect to wait, but worth it.
