The wait staff here was "nice" but not helpful. Unable to answer questions about the menu or explain what items were. Could not explain the food items listed on the menu - did not offer to find out the answers to our questions - and answers that were given were incorrect. Unable to explain wine options - although they did... More

We were the only one's in the restaurant and the food took over 45 minutes to finally be served. They were out of a couple of ingredients for two of the dishes we ordered. Service was good and the décor attractive. Clean. Food pricy and quite honestly, failed to impress. Used a Groupon which helped. Donuts on the Sugar Shack... More

Went to this restaurant because of the interesting menu options! We only got some small plates to share. The escargot was to die for, but we were disappointed in the other plates. The fried pickles were dripping with grease and the batter they used to fry was a little too salty. My boyfriend got sick afterwards but I didn't, so... More

We thought the food was excellent. Two of us had the steak and fries, one had the pork tenderloin and the other had the pasta dish.

I hadn't been to the new location in Carytown yet so my wife and I dropped in after a stroll one evening. Chef LaCivita always has such a creative menu! I had the confit of Duck Leg with whey grits.

Our dinner at Pomegranate was simply delicious. We were a party of three tucked away in a cozy corner upstairs who enjoyed the ambiance and our food. The entrées we chose were Grilled Pork Loin, Pepperoni Ragout, & Shrimp Paella. All of which was deliciously filling; we couldn't even consider dessert.

Date Night here is the best, we arrived around 6:00 pm the seating was okay but we sat tby the fireplace so that was a plus. Pomegrante sitting is a little small but if you do get there in time its worth the wait or inconvience. Dinner was amazing and the drinks were outstanding. We had the special pom drinks... More

Very nice dinner with friends during a busy Saturday night in Carytown. Pomegranate does quite a bit with their small space and the tiny kitchen turns out excellent food. The Steak Frites was probably one of the best I've had... EVER!

Date night with the boyfriend last week was at Pomegranate. We arrived during happy hour (lasts until 7:30 PM!) and were seated on the patio along Cary Street. The patio allows for great people watching. The interior of Pomegranate is super cute too, with a bit of a Restoration Hardware vibe. Happy Hour includes $3 rail drinks and $2 off... More
