Loved the fish and chips, but came back for the atmosphere. Friendly crowd that was everything I was looking for in a public house. I really liked the semi open patio area at night when candle lit.

Need some comfort food and loads of UK memorabilia? Penny Lane Pub is the place to go! Their Bangers and Mash and Cottage Pie will warm you up on a cold winter's day! And the staff is great - love the accents you'll hear throughout the pub!

Two couples out to celebrate a birthday – typical pub atmosphere – seated immediately – we dined on fish and chips (lip smacking!) and bangers and mash (delicious!) – adult beverages - generous portions – service good – a plus is the parking deck across the street.

I ate here twice during my Richmond visit as I enjoyed the bar so much. I've seen the same faces working here over the years which means it must be a great place to work and leads me to think they treat their employees well. I will be back on my next Richmond visit

A really awful pub with a badly maintained bar area and beer that is poorly looked after. A barman who thinks he's way too cool to serve customers and a waitress who was just plain rude. I worked in Liverpool and the pubs there are friendly and generally well run. This place wouldn't last a day on Merseyside. Grubby, over... More

Can there be a more authentic English pub in Richmond? Wonderful atmosphere and authentic Liverpool dishes. Fish-n-chips, Bangers and mash, Beckham and Owen, and a whole list of English beers on tap. Great place for pub food and watch some futball.

Two couples taking advantage of a Groupon. The girls ordered the Cottage Pie, and the guys got Fish ‘n’ Chips and Beckham & Owen. The Pork Sausage Roll & Beef Cornish Pastie (Beckham and Owen) were very tasty. The pastry was flaky goodness. I am not a huge fan of Shepard’s Pie, but the bites I had of my Spouse’s... More

Awesome place!!! I am not a pub-type person but I had a really wonderful time here. The place is amazing especially festive with Christmas decorations. The food is excellent, delicious, served nice and hot. The servers are nice and attentive (specially with refills!) I think the price is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. We did... More

As long as Penny Lane Pub has been around and as long as we have lived in Richmond, it is amazing that this was our first visit. Our friends invited us to go, and I'm glad they did. We started with an appetizer of the Warm Brie topped with a Homemade Apricot-Cranberry Chutney. The flavor was wonderful, but it was... More

Back in Richmond for the holidays and Penny Lane came to mind as a spot to take the family for a casual dinner before a movie. The place was warm, casual and inviting. The food was good and comforting and the beer was plentiful and flowing. We sat by the fire and played trivial pursuit with the set on the... More
