Enjoyed the shecrab soup and tarragon chicken salad plate for a light business lunch. They have a diverse menu and a wonderful ambiance. I would like very much to revisit in the near future and explore their dinner options.

This was our second visit to Tarrants. We went about a year ago and while the food was okay, our table was sitting under a leak in the roof and I was in the unfortunate seat that got hit with more of the drips than anyone else. You guessed it....there wasn't another table open. Now to this visit on Sunday:... More

On this visit our server was not very good. We were also seated next to a very loud woman and next to the kitchen. Some salads were fresh and the other two were not. No one came to refill the water. I had to drink my sons water. The risotto was tasteless. I have eaten here before sitting on the... More

The west end Tarrant's is a great place to eat and enjoy with friends. We enjoy their 10 inch pizzas during the evening.

We felt fortunate to have secured a reservation on Valentine's Day at the last moment, because this is a busy place. We were seated immediately, offered and received drinks promptly, and served efficiently but with no sense of being rushed. My husband loved the Blue Mountain bourbon stout, and probably wishes we lived closer to Richmond to enjoy it more... More

I walk home after work during the Spring and Fall months. I can never make it by Tarrant's though. I have to pass it on my way home and I am always drawn in to get some good food or one of the best Bloody Mary's in Richmond.

Consistently high service and food quality with a varied menu. The she-crab soup is excellent. They also have an extensive dessert menu but we seldom get that far because we are stuffed by the meal. Suitable for families or the elderly and everyone in between.

My wife and I met another couple at Tarrants for a late lunch. Tarrant's is our "go to" restaurant to take people to because of the wide selection of good food. We told our guests, "We have never had a bad meal here." From the bread and garlic appetizer (Yum!) to whatever is ordered, Tarrant's deliver.

Always great food and service. Love crabmeat dip and crabmeat and shrimp entrée. Never have room for dessert so I hey that to go.
