This is a friendly spot for lunch or dinner. The waitstaff is attentive, the place is clean & the food is good. The she-crab soup is highly recommended. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant.

Food, service, atmosphere is always consistent and a good value. Given all the new restaurants opening in RVA, this one has and will withstand the test of time.

I don't know if it was we were a large group but even with the limited menu it wasn't anything to brag about. Also, had audio and Internet trouble with our presentation.

Excellent full course dinners - we enjoyed roast chicken served with an excellent, savory pilaf and roasted veggies. The bean soup was hearty and just right for a chilly evening!

The front of Tarrant's is an old pharmacy which gives it a little flair. Parking is only on the street, which can be difficult, but they do have a valet if you're so inclined. The menu here is expansive and the food is wonderful. I...More

Had a small group meeting and enjoyed lunch at Tarrants. Always good choices and service. I had a BLT wrap. Bread service is awesome as well. It was lunch so didn't partake in their beers, however they have a good selection.

Came here as part of a food tour. We were served small, appropriate portions of Shrimp and Grits. Being from the north, grits were never really on my radar as something I would like. Grits to me were always more like nasty oatmeal. The shrimp...More

Yes, actually they do. There is a dining private area in the back of the Broad Street restaurant. I believe that the Three Chopt Road location has private dining areas.
