Stopped here for lunch on our anniversary trip. We went to the aquarium in the morning and this was a short walk from there for lunch. We got a garden salad and split it, and then had the margarita pizza and split that. It was plenty of food for two people and a really cool atmosphere!

Arranged by two companies sponsoring at the ATD convention in May 2017. It wasn't pizza, but a lot of small italian dishes, with all the good italian delicacies prepared in such a tasty way, that my colleagues and I talked about it for days. Served to us by smiling and friendly staff and the room has a really nice atmosphere,... More

The crust was not very interesting, but overall the pizza was good as were the topping choices. I'd go back if in the area.

Accustomed to seeing wood-fired oven pizza, when I spotted Max’s promoting coal oven pizza, I just had to stop and give it a try even though I was initially a bit skeptical. Although I would prefer a slightly thicker crust, the pizza was very good and the service was friendly and very quick. All of their pizzas are 12 inches... More

The pizzas here are pretty good. They've got some fun creations and the crust is pretty decent too. The staff has always been friendly and enjoyable every time I've gone there.

We had a nice lunch at Max's. My 12" pepperoni pizza was excellent. My wife got the meatball sandwich and fried green tomato & mozzarella salad. They have a nice selection of beers. Service was very good. Enjoy.

Great service, FABULOUS appetizers & the best pizza crust & pizza I've had in years!!! We had the Greek salad, shrimp scampi appetizer and the traditional pizza, but subbed mushrooms & green peppers for the red onions and roasted red peppers. The pepperoni and Italian sausage they used was very good! You should definitely try this place. It's super convenient... More

Max's Coal Oven Pizzeria is really, really, really yummy pizza! The service is great, they validate parking (for a discount) and it's an easy walk to Phillip's and all the attractions at Centennial Park. Definitely worth checking out!

Spot was next to our hotel. Decent drink selection. Make your own pie or pick from menu. Salads and sandwiches were limited. Food was ok. Good spot for families with small kids due to 80's music blaring. Some tv's for sports. Would not frequent again if this was on our turf.
