Loved the appetizers but could have easily not orders so much food. Our table had a variety of different items and all were very good. Loved the craft beer too.

This is one of my favorite places in Atlanta, the steak was perfect and our server was super friendly. Conveniently located within walking distance from our hotel.

I like visiting breweries when in a new city (or any city for that matter), and Max Lager's was right across from my hotel. The restaurant itself is everything I expect from a brewpub: exposed brick, dark wood, metal fixtures. The beer was okay. They tend toward the bitter side, which is not my personal preference, but is the popular... More

We chose this restaurant because of the reviews. The waiter should have offered the house draft instead of his other suggestions. The drawback was the kids meals, did not have enough fries and the tenders were slightly overcooked as per the kids. The pesto salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked. The fried cheesecake was AWESOMELY DELICIOUS!!!

On a cold, damp night, Max Lager's provided a warm respite from the weather and a diverse menu with outstanding craft beers. We tried an assortment of dishes, including their mussels, lemon-rosemary shrimp, roast chicken flatbread and southern fried chicken. All were promptly served, well presented and tasty. Service was good, though it was a busy night on December 30,... More

Had a big group coming in for the Peach bowl so I called ahead and the staff jumped into action. Upon our arrival (and we were early!) they got us set up upstairs with tables. Great food, great beer and a staff that takes customer service seriously. When in Atlanta, I will eat here again!

Stopped here on Monday January 2 - a holiday - for lunch when many other places were closed. Restaurant was pretty empty and service was a little slow, but I would imagine that was because of the holiday. We shared BBQ chicken pizza which was excellent! and the BBQ wings which were good and messy. We tried their beer which... More

We made reservations a month prior and we had no problem getting seated right at time. We even came right after the Peach Bowl so A+ for that. Our party of 6 all ordered different things but the best thing being my BBQ Chicken pizza. It really was fabulous. My husbands burger was to include bacon, but it did not... More

We were there on New Year's Eve, prior to the Peach Bowl. The service was OK, but the food was very mediocre. I tried one of their own brews, but switched to Bud Lite for round 2. Our entrees of turkey sandwich and fish & chips were only so-so. The wife said the sandwich was dry and bland. My plate... More

Max Lager's was one of the first restaurants to bring the fresh and natural wood-fired menu concept to Atlanta. The art of cooking with wood enhances the Max Lager's experience with bold flavors simply not found with alternative cooking methods. We feel that the investment made in the wood-fired grill pays great dividends to our guests. All Max Lager's menu items are prepared daily from scratch. Wood-fired steaks, burgers, seafood, ribs, and pizza are Max Lager's signature items. An inspired selection of entree salads and pastas add variety to the American menu. Max Lager's is the oldest brewpub in Georgia, opening in March 1998. Many of Max Lager's house brewed beers have won major awards including two awards at the Great American Beer Festival in Colorado. Max Lager's offers a full bar, wines, local and national craft beers, with a 32 tap draft system in our upstairs bar highlighting a selection of the best craft beers. If you are looking flavorful food and drinks in a warm and inviting atmosphere - Max Lager's is the place to be! Cheers.
