The ambiance is warm with a wonderful view of the river. The food menu plentiful, the food tasty. Service is excellent. Price is on the expensive side. The overall experience unique but not unforgettable. Enjoy ....

We were there for brunch, just too much to eat. I had pancakes. Nothing outstanding but what can you say about eggs & pan cakes. But, the wait staff were great, so I should not say nothing outstanding. Nice walking area on the river where the Yankee Army crossed the river, a few signs on the roadway. This is a... More

I was so excited to go to Canoe as I had not been in years. The service was horrible. Our server kept leaving the table as we were trying to order. She also brought us the wrong bottle of wine. She talked so fast, it made us nervous. The food was really bad. My partner got the steak and it... More

The food was excellent and service outstanding at this simple but elegant restaurant in SE Atlanta. Despite its odd location in a mini mall with no other nearby restaurants, this is worth a visit. The wine list was international although with a heavy orientation towards American wines and the markup from retail was relatively reasonable. Friendly serving staff complemented a... More

Had dinner here while starting our honeymoon (flying out of Atlanta the next morning). Staff was very friendly, unique menu, very good food. We decided to have the Kangaroo loin (pictured) as an appetizer, and it was phenomenal.

The food was really good. The service was exceptional. Glasses were filled and plates removed before you even noticed. I had seafood and it was delicious. Some of my co-workers ventured out and had the rabbit and kangaroo appetizer. There is also a beautiful view of the river.

We like to go there for a special occasion because the menu is interesting and it's not a "stuffy" place. We never had a bad experience and prefer the lower level of the restaurant overlooking the gardens and the river behind. The service is knowledgable, friendly and accommodating.

Not only is the meal excellent but what really makes this place a charm is the AMAZING customer service. These people really know what it means to be in the restaurant business. After having a lovely waitress who was on point, very polite, and charming, I had accidentally left my purse at the table. When I came back they were... More
