Mr B and I had dinner here. We did not have a reservation and it was easy to walk in off of the street. We tried to return the following night, but they were very busy, so we decided not to wait. We sat outside...More

We visited early on a Saturday evening. We were able to walk from our hotel and beat any rush (without a reservation). We asked our waiter for a recommendation and he did NOT steer us wrong. The salad bar was a pleasant surprise (included) and...More

I had gone to Pittypat’s about 35 years ago, and was a little worried it wouldn’t stand up to my memories. I shouldn’t have worried! The staff was outstanding, friendly, and helpful. The food is fantastic. The salad bar is really more of an appetizer...More

Yep, it's that good. DO NOT visit Atlanta without giving Pittypat's Porch a try. This is southern cuisine at its finest and every menu item draws you in. The problem is that there is only one of me but that didn't keep me from trying...More

This spot was recommended to us but in the end we wouldn’t return. The food was just ok. From the unseasoned chicken, no topping salad bar to the dry bread and disappointing cobbler, we felt like we wasted a meal on our visit.

Wandered around the area near my hotel and stumbled upon this delightful restaurant. It featured a long salad bar with lots of southern specialties, a bread basket with yummy homemade corn bread, biscuit and chocolate chip muffins, and a menu full of traditional Southern fare...More

This was a favorite of Gourmet Magazine in the 1950's - no to me now. The service is horrible, and the food average. Decor is nice, however. Actually, they have a very nice salad bar that is part of the entree price - sweet potato...More

I had the peach cobbler. It was not sweet or tart just right. The cobbler is served warm with cinnamon ice cream. When you walk in you can smell the smell of cakes being baked. All cakes are made in house. The entree servings are...More

Description
Downtown Atlanta's Oldest Southern Dining restaurant since 1967. We are a "Gone With the Wind" themed restaurant, a place where the characters presence are felt from the menu to the overall decor to the memorabilia on the walls. We have created a menu of Southern classics that have been enjoyed by groups large and small from the moment we opened our doors. Dishes such as, Aunt Pittypat's Fried Chicken, 12 Oaks BBQ Ribs, Georgia Catfish, just to name a few. Our menu also includes delicious appetizers and tempting desserts made fresh in our bakery daily. We have a full bar, plus draft beer by local breweries and a Specialty Drink menu to wet your whistle. So come on by and let us show you our Southern Hospitality!
