Giving a tip by a local wine & food hipster that the place was one to visit while in downtown Atlanta - Good food here - lead chef Justin Cox treated us right!

Thrive is a great restaurant right in downtown Atlanta. Nice atmosphere, friendly servers, and amazing food. It is not crazy expensive, although the wine is pricey. Overall, a nice treat for special occasions.

Was just average. Sushi. Ambiance was great Ray's was nice too and has a much better offering as far as ambiance and location. Thrive wasn't too far away, but seemed to be just far enough away from up-beat restaurants in the hot parts of the city near Peachtree and Baker (like White Oak)... Thrive was just far enough away to... More

There was no problem getting in the restaurant for lunch. The staff was a bit formal for a casual place, but the food was good. Though I did click that it was an American restaurant, my wife had sushi and said it was very good.

I was in downtown Atlanta for a conference and was looking for a dinner venue with a couple of work associates. We chose Thrive for its convenient location, variety of menus offerings and its reputation. We were not disappointed! It is unusual to have the option of choosing sushi, wild Coho Salmon, and New Zealand lamb shank off of a... More

I visited Thrive for lunch with work colleagues. The atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant was not overly busy at 12:00 pm on a weekday, so we were seated quickly. The waiter was pleasant and mostly attentive. The food was fresh and attractively presented. The portions were good and what I would expect for the price. The prices were reasonable... More

Entire meal was incredible. Fried Green tomatoes were crispy and tasty. Main course choices were Fried chicken dinner. Highly recommend. We also had two sushi rolls (teriyaki chicken roll and shrimp tempura roll). Both were terrific. Dessert was cream brûlée. Delicious. Ask for server Tony. Very friendly and incredibly attentive

The atmosphere is pretty cool...maybe it gets a better bar crowd later in the evening. We were there for dinner around 7:30 and the place was almost empty. However our service was rather slow. Our food was okay, not great. Probably waited 30 minutes to get our check. Perhaps it is better for sushi.

Got some raw seafood, salmon and tuna for the first time... Good cuts; did the appetizer with salmon and chips and tuna with rice.. Also got a couple of drinks and I was good to go. Drinks were a little over price for what you get size wise. I like to get my money's worth but the seafood made up... More
