Sat down for only coffees and the place is very cute and gorgeous views of the beach. A comfortable sitting area under the grass umbrella up on the patio. We watched our neighbors eat hearty good looking lunch platters that had us drooling. Everything looked fresh and not a crumb left on all the plates at the tables we sat... More

Arrived at 2pm. No tables available outside so sat in the covered area which was chilly although it was warm outside. Food was ok & the service good although the place was very busy. House wine was of a decent quality but the quantity per glass was a bit small. Gambas Pil Pil at €11 was several Euro more expensive... More

Good service in restaurant and on beach (hamacas for rent €5/each). Food good if stick to fish/seafood, salads and traditional (gazpacho excellent), would avoid fried offerings of chicken etc. Beach, though stony, is wonderful for naturists and open-minded families. Recommended.

Very good service, very friendly and helpful. The food was very good too, swordfish was excellent as was the Fried White fish. The starter of fried Anchovies was the highlight of the meal, so tasty.

We head to Playa Cantarrijan whenever we can take a day off and head straight for La Barraca. Here you can hire sun beds, umbrellas and eat and drink - and on some evenings, dance - from early morning until late at night. This has to be the most relaxed beach we know and it never fails to delight us.... More

La Baraca is based directly on the beach. The stuff is very gentle and makes you feel more than welcome. I suggest to reserve tables outsides during the high season in order to be able to enjoy your meal just in front of the sea.

This is a wonderful location on famous Cantarrijan naturist beach cove which is 50/50 textile / nudist. Beautifully shaded, good food and friendly service. Very good value .

La Barraca is a gem. Totally hidden in a stunning nature park. Sitting there having a drink and some nice seafood in the evening as the waves lap up and the buzz of nature surrounds you in just blissful. We were there in May so it was nice and quiet. It is a place you could easily pass the entire... More

We were a large party of hikers(fully clothed) who stopped off here with our guide for a lunch break before continuing our walk. Extensive menu with plenty of choice - everybody in our party enjoyed their food and the service was up to scratch even though the restaurant was very busy and we were quite a demanding bunch. The wine... More

That's what makes La Barraca worthwhile. The place is gorgeous -- a haven of greenery tucked on a beach under the cliffs of a little cove near La Herradura. Given that, it really doesn't matter that the food isn't fantastic and, as another reviewer said, it must be the most expensive chiringuito on the Costa Tropical. We shared a salad... More
