Having been strongly recommended El Molino by the owners of our villa in Vinuela (some distance away) we were delighted to be able to prove it for ourselves one warm afternoon in October. There are, of course, many such places on the beach at Salobrena but it's hard to imagine a better restaurant. Judging from the large number of local... More

I'm a good fan of chiringuitos and this place was not one of my favorites, we wait for almost 20 minutes to give us a table, the fright fish was not good and little salty and they didn't even apologize about let us waiting.

This is one of the few beach bars that stays open year round and as a result it tends to be busy even in low season. There are many tables both inside and outside offering shade or sun depending upon your wish. A good menu del dia at approx Euros 9 per person offers a good choice of a 3... More

Tapas at the bar are good and it's the best café con leche I've found, especially with tostada con tomate to kick start the day.Out of the summer season this chiringuito includes an excellent parillada in the menu del dia but in high season prices from the main menu can be a little higher than in some places. You get... More

This could be an excellent restaurant if the prices were lower . The fish is too expensive for a beach restaurant and sadly this could be it's downfall . Dependant on who is in the kitchen the food varies! Service can be very slow particularly at weekends and fiestas.

The food is as you might expect - largely seafood of various kinds, but other meat based dishes as well. The quality is very good - freshly... More
