This was our third choice for for lunch, it had been suggested by the hotel. The owner offered as an appetizer ripe tomatoes from Siguenza, in fact from his back yard. We inquired what they would be served with and he saind nothing, just the tomatoes. He the brought us these chunks of large red and small green tomatoes and... More

On a quiet Tuesday evening we strolled into Calle Mayor after reading encouraging reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. We were the first to arrive, at 8.30pm when it opened and were received by the head waiter as if we had booked and were offered the best table in the house - how refreshing!!! The recommendations of the... More

This is a truly elegant restaurant in the heart of medieval Siguenza. Superb service. Great price/quality ratio. The roast lamb is as good as any available in Spain! Fine dining!

I needn't have pre booked a table for four as even though it was Saturday night, the place, like most of Siguenza, was pretty empty. Any suspicion that this would mean a poor quality meal were quickly allayed as first a great set of starters came out followed by an equally good set of mains. ( well almost ). My... More

Well reading on reviews of places in siguenza tuos restaurant seemed to suit is best. And we got it right! Not far away from our hotel, and brilliantly close to the old square. Value wise it's not cheap, but then every where in siguenza isnt cheap in my opinion. Any way, for a good portion of good well cooked and well... More

The restaurant is conveniently situated for visiting the town square & the cathedral. The food is very tasty. There are a good range of starters which you can share. We had roast goat for the main course, which was delicious. You have to order this the day before, because it is cooked slowly. The wine is very drinkable.

Really good quality food in a smart restaurant right in the middle of this sleepy town. We visited in late October and the town was deserted. We stayed at the Parador but always prefer to try local restaurants. This one was recommended. When we went to find it we were the only people out in the streets and absolutely everything... More

Think of Don Quixote riding into town on his donkey. Siguenza's Plaza Mayor is probably be were he would reach. It is everything that a main square in Castile-La Mancha should be. Flanked on three sides by typical houses and the Catedral on the fourth. Stop for a drink or two and soak up the atmosphere.

We dined here one night when our favourite restaurant was closed. The food was Spanish dishes typical to the region, nicely cooked and plated simply. The waiting staff were efficient, if not a little cold towards us. The restaurant had a large party booked at another table, however, we found that the atmoshere was lacking. I'm not sure the owners... More

Last weekend I visited Siguenza with family and friends - 8 in all. After hiking through the nearby Rio Dulce canyon we called to reserve a had no problem. Half of us had the tasting menu (a little taste of a whole bunch of the first courses and choice of main course - then dessert all included). The other half... More
