If you want great cheese it is a must as the cheese masters know their stuff. But don't stop there as the sandwiches are amazing and the chocolate chip cookies are to die for. My favorite sandwich is the Phils but I think they only make that on Tues and Thurs (maybe Saturday's too). Get some cheese, some wine and... More

The Concord Cheese shop is one of the TOP 3 cheese shops in the Boston area! Do not miss it! They sell cheese from everywhere and curate it very very well. They've got fresh local breads and a wonderful small prepared foods dept where you can put together a picnic and head to the North Bridge or place an order... More

The cheese and consumables in this store are outstanding . Having been a customer for over 30 years I must admit the service and friendliness of staff has gone down steadily however.

Knowledgable folks dispensing advise and samples of great cheeses. Equally knowledgable counterparts advising you on select wines (alas, no samples). Great deli makes some prepared foods and specialty sandwiches. They also stock a nice assortment of teas and nibbles. Not inexpensive but worth it. Take out!

Looking for wonderful shop to buy lunch, or some fabulous cheese and wine when you are being a tourist? (Or even if you live in the area.) You have found your spot. This unassuming little shop on Walden Street has an almost European feeling, one that is intimate and friendly. They sell, of course, wonderful cheese. But in addition you can... More

The Cheese Shop has a well earned reputation for the huge numbers and great varieties of cheeses and wines that it sells. However, it is also a delicious spot to stop for lunch. There is an enticing list of sandwiches, soups and salads to enjoy. It is very popular at lunch time, so you must take a number to move... More

Yum. If you come in here hungry, you will spend a lot of money. The staff offers free samples of various cheeses and I just had to quit tasting them because I wanted to buy all of them! Very well appointed and charming shop.

A great shop for cheese and a resident wine "sommelier" to help pick a wine to go with it. And on top of that, an excellent deli with sandwiches to go. (Only a couple small tables if you want to eat there.)

especially if you like cheese - an incredible variety and very knowledgeable staff. Samples. Nice sandwiches and daily fresh made gourmet things. Wine. Coffee. Edging strongly at the way life should be.
