We had lunch here which was our teenagers first experience of tapas. The food was excellent, definitely the best tapas I have ever tasted. All dishes were €3.80 which was very reasonable given the quality and presentation. The owners wine recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed it so much we came back on the last day of our holiday. Definitely... More

We ate here twice on our recent visit. Once for lunch when two of us shared 4 and once for dinner and we shared 8. They were 3.80 euro each and remarkable quality and value . Very different to the tapas in bars around San Sebastián and other places. Wine was cheap and excellent . Would thoroughly recommend. Opens at... More

We were traveling in off season and this was one of the few restaurants open on a Tuesday evening - and what a lucky find. Had the owner all to ourselves to explain diverse tapas options. Took his lead and settled on five tapas paired with a regional wine. The fun began as each was presented beautifully in perfect sharing... More

RIght in the centre of a truly magnificent little medieval village, this place is obviously very popular with locals ! A very good sign ...... And for the right reasons ! Large and inventive selection of gourmet tapas (all of them being a small version of elaborate dishes). Depending on how hungry one is, 3 or 4 are enough, all... More

It's not cheap but the food you eat is really a pleasure. Worth to eat there, mainly the "papibravas", "confit d'ànec" and "gambes a la mel". The staff really helpful. We'll come there again.

As others have, we were tempted to give the little "alleyway" tapas area a try - we liked the simple look of the place, and the neatly arranged min-bench seating, making the very most of the limited width of the public walkway in which it's set. At around 3.80Euros each the tapas were great value for money, and extremely tasty.... More

Found this place whilst strolling around Peratallada on Sunday evening in early October. Friendly and prompt service, nice food, pleasant atmosphere. This is a tapas bar and relatively inexpensive so the 5 stars for food reflects that it is better than expected rather than outright quality. Menu in English was helpful but the waiter was very good with explanations. Interesting... More

Loved it so much we ate here 4 times ... hamburguesa de poltre (foal), de xai (lamb), foie amb quicos (foie coated with toasted crushed corn kernels) were some of the highlights. Tocat de L'ala was a great local wine (Crazy Guy wine) which we loved. Best of all was the the fabulous service, thanks so much!

I was walking in Peratallada with my wife and friends, looking for a place to have lunch. We've seen the small side entrance in the shade and decided to stop here. We started with some beers and vermouth, then we ordered the food. Since the beginning the atmosphere was great! The waiters are lovely, very kind with us and the... More
