Just had dinner here and had the Smoke Meat Triple platter. The Arkansas beef was very good with a nice little kick. The chicken was very very dry, and over cooked. Also, the dry rub ribs were all burnt and pretty much unedible. After this bad meal I thought the dessert would save the day, but the coconut pie had... More

Lunch on a Saturday afternoon in July. Easily got a table, quick service. Chopped Carolina BBQ and beef brisket sandwiches were both big and flavorful. There are a couple of sauce varieties on the table. The mac and cheese side was good too. It was a little dark, but then it is a bar. Good portions for a reasonable price.... More

My husband and I have been making trips to Black Hog for 6 years now. Food and staff are excellent. Have never had a bad meal. Worth the drive from Pittsburgh,PA.

My husband and I are regulars at the Black Hog on Market Street. They have great sauces, brisket and I crave their gumbo! There sides are good too- including the greens and baked beans. When we want BBQ, we go to Black Hog

Love, love, love Blackhog BBQ. But I usually go for take out. Both locations are great for gathering with friends and family. For a couple, the Wormans Mill location just seems overwhelming. Downtown is a cool vibe to eat and linger. Carry out dinners of brisket, pulled pork, and all the sides easily provide lunch left overs. Not cheap, but... More

Very good BBQ at a fair price. Ample free parking and a cool atmosphere. Like all good BBQ joints they offer a variety of sauces and I liked them all. Although I like my pork pulled rather than chopped, it was still good enough to keep me coming back. This was my third visit and hopefully not my last.

Being from North Carolina, I was skeptical of anyone from Maryland selling Carolina BBQ. I shouldn't have been. The Carolina BBQ Lexington style was actually better than most places in North Carolina. The wet ribs were amazing as well. The dry rub wings hit the spot and the southern greens were pretty good also....I prefer a little more ham to... More

Most delicious smoked beef brisket I've had in a LONG TIME! Mac n'Cheese and the Collards are fantastic. You must try.
