Great place for lunch while you're sightseeing in Frederick. Far above average and everybody got something they loved.

I know that Crabapples Deli in Frederick, Maryland is open early enough for Breakfast, but I seem to only stop by in time for Lunch. Their N.Y. style Deli Sandwiches are delicious - although to be candid, I have not tried all of them. But...More
Stopped by here for lunch this week & their sandwiches are GREAT! Real NY deli type food, fresh made salads, great bread...it's all about the bread. Their BLT & other sandwiches are plentiful & taste great. The only downfall is limited on street parking. The...More
Just had lunch here for the second time this week! We love the shrimp salad! I forgot to take a photo because I ate it too quick!!! Great lunch spot in downtown Frederick!
This is a busy, old fashioned deli near the court house so it gets lots of court business. The sandwiches are fresh and bountiful with good quality co of cuts. The range of offerings is excellent. They serve both breakfast and lunch.

A friend recommended Crabapples to us and we are sure glad he did. This is the closest place I've found in the entire area to a NY Deli. Great corned beef and don't forget the pickles. Their stuffed sandwiches make a whole meal.
I'm glad that friend of yours recommended us too, Steve! Glad to hear our sandwiches really take you back to being in a NY deli. Hope you stop by again soon. Best, Bruce, Owner
Always a big bang for your buck but crowded at lunchtime (darn lawyers and judges who work across the street) and lunchtime is the only time. Limited hours and not open weekends which is when I usually crave a great ruben.More
Deb, I'm sorry if it's a little busy when you stop in over the lunch hour. Being right next to the courthouse downtown, we see a lot of people come through the door! That said, I'm really glad you're such a fan of our sandwiches....More
