Just had lunch in here as a family of 5, two of which were children. The first meal to the last meal took 15 minutes to arrive. We prefer to eat together. The restaurant is at 30% capacity, so not busy. The view from the terrace is amazing. Food was generally good, much the same as the other restaurants in... More

We chose Casa Vicent on the promise of a terrace with a sea view and we were not disappointed! From our table we had a good view of the main beach stretching north and the harbour, smaller beach and rugged coast stretching south. We drank two large jugs of sangria and enjoyed a variety of tapas - hot and cold.... More

The starters we had (the Mediterranean salad and the prawns) weren't anything to write home about but the paella was really good. I've lived in Barcelona for 8 years now and am definitely not a fan of paella and I chose it reluctantly because my wife wanted to have it and they prepared it for a minimum of 2 people.... More

We had dinner here and sat on the terrace and watched the sunset over the bay, which was lovely. We took advantage of the set menu, which was great value for money, especially given the location. The food was fresh, and delicious. I'd come back here.

Our party of four stopped at this restaurant for lunch where we dined at their rooftop dining room. We shared eight different tapas dishes and enjoyed them all. Some were new things for us to try (cuttlefish fish), while others gave a new spin to something familiar (melon with slices of ham, also the roasted potatoes). The view of the... More

Went here on the last night of our holiday and had pulpo a la gallega and boquerones fritas to start, followed by arroz con bogavante for main...all absolutely delicious! We sat upstairs on the terrace watching the sunset, very romantic. Would recommend! not the cheapest place in Peniscola but you are paying extra for the view.

We went for lunch on a Saturday during Easter; it was very busy; however they attended to us quickly. There was a wait but it was to be expected, the restaurant was completely full. We ended up on a not so good table behind a party with a child that kept moving and hitting my chair. Once a table was... More

Go for the views..but definitely not for the food. We had great expectations for this restaurant in the old city/castle. But boy were we disappointed. We picked 2 starters. The small mussels (€8 euro) were totally overcooked to the point of being tasteless and soft...served in a flavourless tomatoe based sauce. The tough calamares (€8 euro) were coated in a... More
