We are located in Hisaronu, SW Turkey. We have a wonderful menu awaiting you. Our food is authentic chinese cooked by our exclusive Chinese chef, Huikang YU who has prepared authentic food with us for 28 years. We have been established since 1992 and has recently moved to our new purpose built restaurant. Our staff are fully experienced and most have been with us for many years. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful, the service is extremely attentive and I could not ask for more in terms of the service level offered by the 2 waiting staff working while we visited on 2 separate occasions over the past 2 weeks. My wife and I enjoyed the set menu which was very reasonably priced for a starter, spring rolls, prawn crackers and main meal coming in at around £16 each which is superb value comparable to what you would pay in the UK for similar food. The quality of the food was brilliant and my 2 young children loved the variety offered to them also. Free WiFi and a roaring log fire to enjoy a cup of Turkish Coffee by while chatting to the owner Şeniz about everything and anything was a lovely touch and came across as genuine and simply part of the experience rather than a hard sell. I will definitely be back and hope all the staff are their when I return. Highly recommend this hidden gem just off the main strip to anyone that fancies great food in a relaxed environment 👌 Thank You Dragonaro, until the next time 👍

My husband and I visited this restaurant after recommendations from others.
The restaurant itself is clean and decorated in Chinese style.
The restaurant does several set menus along with menus where you can order individual items. We both ordered from the set menus. I am a vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant has a vegetarian set menu.
For starters we both had hot & sour soups along with spring rolls.
For mains we had vegetable curry & sweet and sour chicken, with fried rice. We also ordered some salt and pepper chips.
The food is beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and large in portion size, so much so that we left quite a lot which is unusual for me!
The bill came to around £45, that included a glass of wine and 1 x beer. We thought this was excellent value and we would recommend it to others. We’ve tried a few in Hisaranou, but this beats them all in our opinion 👍

We wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate our first paraglide and we are so pleased we chose the Dragonaro. We received a very warm welcome and were soon shown to a very nice table and our drinks order and food order taken. We had the Chefs special combo for starters, followed by sweet and sour chicken with the house special noodles. I had the beef in oyster and ginger sauce with egg fried rice(it was amazing) and we shared a bottle of the house red. For dessert my daughter had the banana fritters with Ice cream and I tried the deep fried ice cream which was interesting. The waiters couldnt do enough for you and provided first class service. We loved our surroundings and even more the delicious food. A lovely night to remember. The bill coming to around £52 for 3 course with wine for 2. Thank you

How this place is rated as the best Chinese in Hisaronu is beyond me, the food was freezing, and bland with zero flavour. I could have ordered directly from Shanghai, had food airmailed over and eaten it straight from the tub and it would have been warmer and fresher than this excuse of a plate of food I was served. If you like flavour and quality, avoid this place. The staff were miserable, no air con for the children that was with us either, which made the experience even more enjoyable

I ordered my meal and asked for a plain chicken chow mein and the man looked at me as if I had 2 heads and said what the hell is that. As I stated before I specified that I ordered chicken and the noodles came plain. The man in particular was the man with glasses and a bald patch.

We visited this Chinese in hisaronu last night for dinner and ordered the special offer of chicken and sweet corn soup, any chicken/vegetarian/beef dish, a portion of egg fried rice or vegetable chow mein for just over £10 each.
Staff were very friendly and polite, quick to serve and bring the food out. The restaurant itself was lovely and atmospheric, clean toilets too which is always a bonus!!
Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Dragonaro Chinese for a beautiful meal.

Fancied a Chinese meal last night and havnt been impressed by China rose as the food is bland. As soon as we entered dragonara it was clear that it was very well run, the staff were attentive and everything was clean and spotless, even the condiment pots had been polished, its the little things I notice even the toilets were immaculate.
We opted for a set menu and the food was excellent and the portion size was more than enough for us, it was very reasonably priced.
We have walked past this place lots of times in our many visits to Hisaronu but no more, well impressed.

Another fabulous meal at this lovely restaurant, it never disappoints. The set menus are great value and cooked fresh.
The staff were very attentive & restaurant is spotlessly clean.
We also love that they actually have a Chinese chef.

We visited Dragonaro last year on our previous visit to the area & we were tempted to try elsewhere but our local favourite bar said he would not go anywhere else for his Chinese food so we went again under his recommendation. We enjoyed a shared starter followed up by a selection of dishes to share and a couple drinks . Service was lovely as it was our previous visit. Good tasty food and reasonable portions for the price in my opinion. Think it was around £40 for the two of us .

This was the best meal by far of our 10 day stay
Tonight is our last night of our holiday so we're going back
We had chicken with cashew nuts with chicken fried rice
And
Chicken schezuan style with boiled rice
They were both blooming and I'd definitely recommend calling in here for a meal

Amazing food & service! Came as a party of 4 but they let us have 2 separate bills. The food was outstanding, sweet & sour chicken (Cantonese style) egg fried rice, chicken chow mein, chips, curry sauce and 2 drinks on our bill for less than £30! It was the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Would highly recommend it.

After many years of visiting this restaurant, it is starting to slip down the charts. You used to have to queue for a table. Maybe they have changed the chef, as the food is not as good, the menu has been cut down, leaving less choice, and the personal touch has gone missing. It used to be the highlight of the holiday, a slap up meal, is now just another cram them in, feed them and get them out restaurant.

The food was excellent!!
However...
Towards the end of the meal, a Turkish family sat on the table next to us and proceeded to all light cigarettes sending all their smoke over our children, food and table. This was a covered area, so shouldn’t really have permitted smoking. They were clearly talking about us and laughing, the waiters made no attempt to ask them to move away with their cigarettes.
As a result, we decided to give ‘less’ of a tip with the bill.
The owner came out to collect the bill, was incredibly arrogant and rude about the fact we had not eaten there in our 6 years of holidaying (we generally eat Turkish food in Turkey instead 🤷🏻♂️).
He then counted out the money I had put in the bill wallet in front of me like he didn’t trust us, and sent us on our way....
If a guy had treated me like that in England, I’d have taken my money back and left without paying!!
We will certainly never eat there ever again and would certainly advise others not to either.

My family have been coming to the Fethiye/Hisaronu area for over 14 years and we always dine at Dragonaro at least once a holiday. The food is fantastic (my personal favourite is the Szechuan style squid) and the service is always excellent. Great value compared to the UK and honestly some of the best Chinese food we've ever eaten. The service is always amazing and it feels like a more refined dining experience compared to other restaurants in the area. Highly recommend to anyone holidaying in the area!

We normally go to the Peking at the top of Hisaronu strip but it was closed.
Not visited here before but really enjoyed the food.
Nice setting with indoor and outdoor seating.
We chose the set menu for two and had: chicken/sweet corn soup, chicken/mushroom soup, spring rolls, chicken curry, Szechuan beef and two egg fried rice for around £11 pp without drinks. Couldn’t eat it all! Very tasty.
Very clean toilets and excellent service from staff.
