We ordered a takeaway from here as we hadn't had one from the Gandhi for about a year. Plus points first - it is very cheap, £15.00 for two curries, two sides, naan bread and poppadoms, great price! The food was bland with very little taste, 6 small pieces of meat in each curry, naan bread was very stodgy and... More

Went here with my girlfriend and although we hadn't booked, they managed to fit us in and were very friendly. Service was good and food was lovely. Price was average but good good value.

Beautiful food and very affordable, the only Indian restraunt I will visit from now on! It has a very relaxing atmosphere and there is so much choice on the menus. Would highly recommend the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer

This use to be our regular Indian Restaurant until we left the U.K. In 2012. Being back for the first time since then I had to go back and boy we were not disappointed. Delicious garlic naan, lovely onion bhaji and great curry, we had lamb saag, veg dansak and a chili tikka garlic and they were great. It was... More

I came here twice in December, first with friends and again with family. Both times the food has been fantastic, unfortunately both times the service has been slow and not very helpful. We actually had to ask 3 times before we got the bill! On each occasion we spent over 2.5 hours for poppadoms and a main course. I have... More

We visited one Saturday evening, I rang beforehand and asked if we could book a table for 10pm, which I was told was not a problem. We showed up early at 9.30pm and were made very welcome. The food was good and reasonably priced but at 10.10pm I got the feeling that we were no longer welcome. The restaurant was... More

Small bijou restaurant situated in the small town of Sandy just off of the A1. Impeccable service, excellent food & very reasonably priced. Just be aware that it is an old building , access to the toilets are upstairs & the Ladies facilities have a very fun fair "Mad House" feel to them where the building has settled over the... More

Have been to the Gandhi on numerous occasions, each time having something different to eat. There is plenty of variety and everything I have had so far has been great. The real winner at the Gandhi is the pricing. Everything is very reasonably priced and you feel you get good value for money. Staff are also very polite and attentive.... More
