I lovely meal in the restaurant on a very cold day. Perfectly cooked cod & chips. Top quality and reasonably priced. We will be eating here again when visiting Cromer.

Good fish and chips with a nice gluten-free alternative - which is good because even people who do not need gluten-free would like it's lighter style as its dusted with flour and not covered in batter (even if the batter is tasty). With regard to...More

Visited last week and saw that Cod & Chips in the café like restaurant was a significant £9 per portion so we decided to use it as a takeaway with the price of Cod & Chips a more reasonable £6.20 ish. I wish we hadn’t...More

Visited here at beginning of January as no.1 was closed for the winter. Decent gluten free fish and chips although not much batter on the fish. Tasty though rather expensive to eat in and £1.50 supplement for gluten free.

Good size portions but the chips were soggy, the fish had lots of bones in and it was expensive. Disappointing.

As we had seen some negative reviews we felt we had to give a positive one. The fish & chips plus drinks were just perfect and the staff were efficient & friendly. We will be back on our next visit to Cromer.

We visited Cromer on a sunny summer Saturday in late August. The restaurant and take away sections were both busy and lively. We were seated quickly and given menus by the friendly staff, our meals and drinks came quickly and without fuss. We both had...More

Consistently good fish and chips and possibly the best in Cromer. Freshly cooked to take away or sit in. Pre-ordering also available.

Mary Janes do not need to (legally) put up a sign to accommodate your life choice. With that logic, you should wear a badge to show that you're a vegetarian.

Mary Jane's is Cromer's finest Fish and Chip restaurant and takeaway. Positioned a stones throw from the sea front in the heart of town we have a 47 seat restaurant offering a wide range of cooked to order fish, chicken, burgers and pies. Or choose to takeaway and and sit overlooking the prom or on the pier, fish and chips doesn't get more traditional than that!!
