Having been on our road trip from England for a month, we were missing Nepalese food, so were excited about this place. On arrival most other diners were eating 'traditional' American food. The Nepalese menu was very limited. Our dishes were pretty devoid of taste or spices. This may be because of the tamer palettes locally. We did find a... More

If you are in the area, you NEED to eat here. We ate the first night at another establishment and it was awful. Because of Trip Advisor, our second night was here and amazing - but, of course, we love ethnic food. It was a cold and rainy night at the beginning of the off season and a welcome respite... More

Small place, looks like an Asian take-out joint in any city. Limited menu - they seem to have 3 choices. The berry pie fr dessert was best part of meal. Not good value for what we paid.

We sat on the outdoor tented patio, nice laid back atmosphere. Food was fantastic, very much like Indian food. Samosas, curry, rice, lentils, flat bread, mango lassi, all delicious! They also had several American menu options for less adventurous diners like my husband. Friendly service.

We were looking for a snack having on our venture of visiting local galleries and were told this restaurant was excellent for Himalayan cusine. We tried their Loganberry pie which was Very Good and hit the spot of being on vacation and off our typical diet.

My dining companion and I had the Kukhura Thali meal, which gave us a sampling of Himalayan dishes. The dal soup that started the meal had an outstanding flavor, and the rest of the meal was very tasty.

It was a nice surprise to have a comfort meal in the middle of "nowhere". The wait stuff (son of the cook/owner) is friendly swift, and I liked the beef stew and dumplings. But the restaurant was lingered with moldy smell (from rain season?), though the decor is fascinating. So I opted for take out after 1st dine-in. They are... More

I think I ate here a few years ago and didn't remember but this time I was very impressed. My companions ordered the "Sherpa stew" and loved it. I sampled it and can confirm that it was really good. I had a chicken curry dish (Kukhura Thali) and it was outstanding. The waiter was helpful and the host was interesting... More

Wonderful restaurant, just a few miles west of the Nisqually Gate to Ranier. I had momos, tasted like pot stickers. Their pie is famous.
