My wife and I stopped here on the way back from Liverpool, we were hungry and saw the sign and decided to try it. We stopped here for lunch on our way to Bodelwyddan Castle. There was twelve of us and we sat at two tables with views across the Dee. The food was excellent and the portions huge. What more can I say its a good stop for lunch if your passing through.

The lovely staff at the Britannia Inn were very accommodating to me and my dog. As a weary, lone female traveller, I decided to stop here for lunch on my way to Anglesey. As I went in, I was greeted and asked what I would like. The gentleman I spoke to told me that, unfortunately, they were not open for... More

Two seniors stopped off mid-week for a light lunch on our way to Llandudno. An excellent place to stop for typical pub food, and the views from the carpark were exceptional. We understood that the pub has recently changed hands, and that very soon many improvements are going to be made. Nothing really wrong with this pub t the moment,... More

Home made, generous portion and very reasonably priced, what more can you ask for? If you don't want a roast meal there are a few other options available.

My sister chose to eat at the Britannia Inn for her 60th birthday. We are part of the original Vickers family where the Britannia had been in our family for over 70yrs and ran by our great grandfather Alfred Vickers and the history goes with it. The pub has since seen many new comers as landlords and we have sampled... More

Had a Christmas meal for a group of about 20. Food nicely presented, and well cooked. Chef Warren ( no, they don't do Rabbit !!) couldn't do more to make sure that everybody's needs were met Service was good with the Landlord ( Martin) not shy of 'mucking in' as well - nice touch. Good value food - would recommend... More
