Homely,Telephoned Order waiting for me when I Arrive, Good Value for Money, clean, and if dining in you never feel under any pressure to leave, as has happened to me in other restraunts.

A truly lame panini was had by myself here, one could possibly state the most boring panini to ever grace a plate. Tea cup was filthy and the cafe was cold. With the atmosphere of a slag heap I suggest you find elsewhere on your travels.

I couldn't resist a Thursday "over-60's" 2-course special. I had a decent portion of pork cooked in cider with mash and vegetables - a hunk of black-forest gateau - and pot of tea. I'm new to the area - this place gets me out of the house - it's a pleasant spot to do my crossword with a pot of... More

Good basic food at good prices. They do a 2 course lunch with tea or coffee for £6.50 for over 60's on Thursdays. There is a choice of 2 main courses and 2 puddings. They are open to suggestions from regular customers for following weeks menus.

Busy Bee's almost have a monopoly of coffee in Penrhyn. If you don't want to sit in a pub there isn't much choice. Having said that Busy Bees is fine. Reasonable food, reasonable prices, reasonably comfortable. Overall.....reasonable.

This 'belly buster' was let down by some of the quantities for instance - half a tomato, tiny sausages, small rashers of bacon, 'one' sliced mushroom which looked like it would barely make up one button mushroom! The beans on toast was £2.50 on 1 piece of toast and not one bean spilled over this one piece of normal sliced... More

Good food. Priced right and home cooked. Surroundings are very well kept and clean, add to that a good pot of tea makes this a nice place to take a break.

Had a great breakfast here. I had the poached eggs, and they were cooked perfectly. My sister had the "big" breakfast with sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, baked beans, and potatoes. Truly a LARGE breakfast. The cafe was clean and the staff was very nice. The cook talked with us about his adventures in the USA. I would definitely go back... More
