8 of us visited here for our staff party on Sunday evening. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We started with olives, crisp breads and hummus which were lovely then we could only choose from the Sunday roast menu or the classics menu but there was more than enough choice. I chose the burger, others... More

We have been to the Pilot numerous times with family and friends, but haven't visited for a while, so decided to have a date night out as a couple. The staff are always friendly and can't do enough for you, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was phenomenal. My wife and I both went for a special dish, the... More

Went here for lunch with some friends, a little way out of Cardiff but worth it. Lunchtime menu is good and there is also a choice on the blackboard as well, service is very good and it is very popular, may need to book.

Excellent pub that serves really good homemade food. Its selection of real ales and craft beers are great changing regularly. But mostly importantly the front bar is dog friendly so it's nice and easy to sit and eat with your four legged friends ! All the staff are really friendly and helpful

Good choice of 5 main dishes or baguettes on lunch menu, and other starters and mains on blackboard - fish/chips and burger/chips all delicious, generous portions- especially enjoyed cod nicoise this time. Lovely staff, who apologised for delay as problem in kitchen, and offered deserts on the house. Maybe the heating could have been been just up a notch

Went on a Monday night, never like having a buy one get one free when there are three of you. Ordered four main courses for three for the price of three. Food and service were good without being outstanding. A few hassles with the bill which I never like. Would like to go at lunchtime as views look great. Next... More

We went for Sunday lunch at the Pilot today, after hearing good reviews about it. We booked a table for 2 and were seated promptly in the bar area, albeit on a small round table. The menus were on the table, with a set Menu, with a choice on each course. Starters were £5, Mains £13, and a £1 supplement... More
