I tried this restaurant with family, at their suggestion. We had an amazing meal and our server was fun, helpful, and attentive. Great atmosphere for those of us who remember comfort and service as the hallmarks of good dining.

Wife, family and friends in Martin County, California ALL agree the #1 place for food and drink and fine service is without question The Buckeye Roadhouse. Whatever is the next level beyond the BEST is the level of the Buckeye. What more is there to...More

We decided to stop here on our way into the city for a show. While we felt it had a lot of character and that the staff was very friendly, the options were limited and the portions small (especially the pasta). My husband made a...More

The atmosphere is comfortable rustic, the drinks are extremely well made and the food is high quality. Great place to come for a social event or celebration.

We found this place through trip advisor and it did not disappoint. They offer complimentary valet and the parking attendant was extremely helpful and kind. The food is good, but kind of pricey. I’m starting to think all food is pricey in San Francisco.

Part of the fun of dining here, besides the superb menu, is the warmth and humor of the staff. It made us feel appreciated and special 🤙

At first glance the big menu seemed be disappointing old fashioned "classic," which would have been a reasonable assumption looking at the once elegant decor that cries out to be updated. But wait, the seared sesame sprinkled ahi tuna with red & Napa cabbage was...More

The food from seafood to steaks was truly fantastic. We started with a dozen raw oysters and had fantastic entrees and dessert. The bread was incredible. Wines were reasonable. We will definitely go back here. Can't think of a better place for Father's Day.

We eat at the Buckeye fairly regularly. Service is always excellent. Cocktail bar is worth a look although can get crowded. Food is always great, and the deserts...S'more Pie is positively addictive!

Actually, I'm vegetarin and they create a plate for me. There's quinoa at times, always polenta, broccolini and/or broccoli, potatoes, artichokes, spinach, avocado and/or guacamole, corn on the cob in season. When they set... More
