When you plan your visit to Stanton Hall, make sure to go around lunch. The Carriage House has the best Southern fried chicken, better than my Mother's! Biscuits are an added plus. Good service and great environment.

Breakfast is served until 10 am and Brunch started at 10:30 am. The food was good and included a tour of the home. The property is also a B&B. Worth the visit, peaceful.

The fried chicken does not disappoint and continues to live up to the reputation it has earned. However, more importantly to me, all that Chef Bingo Star puts out is a notch above everyone else. During our 20 years in Natchez, we've seen this restaurant evolve from a stuffy, decent country club type venue serving the blue hairs, to a... More

Great food that really hits the spot! And that muscadine jelly, YUM!!! with those perfect little biscuits.. Best food as well, its a self serve buffet which is nice, and it has an awesome flow. The staff pays attention to the customers and your drink never gets empty!

We had lunch at The Carriage House for my birthday. We had a wonderful salad dressed with a pepper jelly vinaigrette that was yummy. For our entre we chose a deep fried pork chop served over a bed of sweet, tender collard greens with a side of sweet potato waffle fries. The food was cooked to perfection and served beautifully.... The restaurant is located behind Stanton Hall and feels historic even though it may not be. We were there during Fall Pilgrimage and attended a concert inside the restaurant. Dinner was served prior to the concert buffet style and was excellent. We had the chicken, vegetables and mashed potatoes along with excellent small baking soda biscuits. Chicken was excellent and... Chicken had been cooked long before it was served and was warm at best. They included canned green beans, reconstituted mashed potatoes and canned gravy. Not good. And what really made this "famous biscuit and chicken" lunch is it was served in a warehouse ugly undecorated room because the beautiful dining room was reserved. Would not go back.

This is the best Chicken lunch I ever had. Fresh not greasy and real mashed potatoes. Not too floured and delicately seasoned. Good service. Biscuits to die for

Had the fried catfish, greens and mashed potatoes. The little biscuits they serve are to kill for. Big plus was how nice the servers were and how helpful they were as to things to do in Natchez. Totally enjoyed the food and the experience.

We went here mainly to see Dunleigh. The food was fine but nothing compared to other places in town. Our waitress was young and very soft spoken.
