Bowies is directly across the street from the Grand Hotel. It offers a wide array of appetizers, bar food, daily specials, and other entrees. It has a good assortment of drinks, wines, and beers. On some nights there is also live entertainment.

I have eaten here twice. The first time was fine. The food is good. The second time (today) there was only my wife and myself in the place, and about 8 employees. 11:00 am. The staff was too busy chatting among themselves to pay us much attention. Our food took forever to arrive. The server said it came out a... More

We didn't eat there, but did have drinks there, and they were having live music in the evening. Justin was our bartender, and was creative and creating a drink to my tastes (I don't drink alcohol).

The food is pretty typical of tavern food, with smothered fries, chicken wings and burgers. The shrimp salad I had was fresh, but nothing special. We did enjoy the open area and high top seating for our group of eight, and the trivia was excellent and challenging.

Dropped in with a group of friends for a drink after dinner. It was late and they were closing but they were happy to serve a nightcap and let us have some takeaway. We had good service.

My husband & I celebrated our 7th anniversary by staying at The Natchez Grand & we were able to walk right across the street to Bowie's, which was great. Our server came immediately to serve us. She seemed knowledgeable about the menu & answered all questions we threw her way (which were quite a few). She let us know that... More

I like to go to listen to the bands on the weekends when I visit Natchez. The food is good, but I it tasted like the spinach/artichoke dip came out of a jar. Sandwiches are good, drinks are good and decent prices. Great atmosphere to meet with friends and hang out.

We stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening. The building was amazing and you overlook the Mississippi River so it was fun from the start. Our waitress was very personable. My wife and I shared the seafood platter and a cup of gumbo. All was delicious. We also tried the homemade croissant bread pudding with bourbon sauce and it... More

We loved it. Our server, Leah, was the best waitress we had while in natchez. The food was excellent and such a beautiful place. We sent people to eat there our whole 10 days in town.

I got the burger (and had it topped with pepper jack cheese) with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger was great but the sweet potato fries were severely undercooked and still a little crunchy in the center. Overall a good experience.
