This is a gem. It's on a small residential street in an old moshav. There are birds, a store with very generous samples of incredible cheeses and olives, and a lovely little restaurant where you can get some local wine and cheeses with hot delicious bread. I cannot imagine how anyone would not be charmed by this friendly, romantic, hidden... More

Old and historical family diary and a very small yard with several tables local rural atmosphere with a good coffee and many kind of cheese but the prices are just too high. Still a plce to sit and enjoy.

The owners ply you with samples of delicious locally made and grown olives, cheeses, oils and herbs before we sat down to a delicious fresh, feast of more cheseses and fresh vegetables and lavash bread than we have ever seen or tasted. Totally worth the experience! Beware of the stray cats, and everything else is well worth the detour.

We have been going there for years, ever since we discovered it 20 years ago. It offers home made cheese, of all flavors and all types. The soft white cheeses (cumin seeds, mustard, etc.) are the best. They make fresh pita with herbs and their desserts are excellent as well. Word of caution: they are not cheap. 3 ppl, roughly... We visited the dairy on a nice winter morning. The place looks great, very scenic and natural, which makes this tourist trap even more unfortunate and painful. To make a long story short. We ended up eating about 200 grams of cheese (tops) and a pita for over 200 shekels (60$) which makes schwartzman's cheese even more expensive than gold.... More

With mediocre cheese selection and quality and very poor seating as well as bad service, you can certainly expect to pay high $$$ for a lousy cheese platter and enjoy the stentch of the chicken next to your table. I would certainly avoid this place and look elsewhere.

If your'e looking for nice little place to have a stop/rest on the way north .. this is a great place - you can get a cheese platter and breakfast / wine all self-made on their farm.. one negative point - they are not cheap... but overall worth the stop

we enjoyed a birthday breakfast here yesterday - what a refreshing place - excellent selection of cheeses, salad, olives, lafa served in a peaceful surrounding - very nice and friendly service, generous portions, reasonable prices, a taste of yesteryear with old photos and items... easy to find off of highway 70, on the south side of Moshava Bat Shlomo, ample... The Schwartzman Dairy is located in the old part of Bat Shlomo, on the south side of Highway 70. There is only one street on that side and it hasn't changed much since 1889 when the moshav was founded. Park your car at the entrance to the street and walk about 100 yards to the dairy. You can either sit... More
