We're on vacation and this is our first time in the area. We were hungry and getting frustrated when happened to see the sign. What a gem. Service was super friendly. I had the Thai Beef Salad. LOTS of steak pieces, perfectly rare. Husband had Fat Tony pizza which was way too much for one person. Happily took leftover with... More

We had dinner here,a quaint english riplica pub, filled with country memoriblia, wooden tables and chairs, there was even a resident cat milling about.the menu was extensive and we choose pizza and burger,we couldnt finish either meal due to the large servings.they were well priced and tasty.the staff were relaxed and friendly.a nice atmosphere.would recommend a stop here (10minutes drive from blenheim)

Excellent beer and service in a low ceiling pub straight out of the English country side. Didn't eat there but the plates going by were hearty fare and smelled wonderful. Beer was excellent

You can feel mistaken, that you are not in NZ, but in England - such a good English pub with all its charm. And it seems it is the only place where you can get some food in Renwick after 5pm.

It may not look like much on the outside, but this is where the town gathers. The food is top-notch, and everyone there looks happy. I had some remarkable lamb shanks here -- so good that I stopped in a second time the next night for their 2-for-1 pizza special. The pizzas were crispy and fresh from the brick oven.... More

We thought this was going to be an english pub experience but it wasn't. The only "english" beer was guinness and nothing else. Limited menu but I give them credit for a very good steak even if it was grossly overpriced at $35! My partner did enjoy his pizza. It was also very very noisy and not a lot of... More

After a long drive from Franz Josef it was great to have a lovely hot meal with super friendly staff. No matter that Quiz Night was in full swing, we had a laugh trying to guess the answers to the trivia questions. We also ended up renting bikes from here to do our winery tour.
