My wife and I visited for lunch after a very pleasant walk around the grounds of nearby Canon Hall. We were due to drive back home to Devon and wanted to have a memorable light meal after our weekend in Yorkshire. When we both saw...More

We popped in last week for a quick lunch, sat in the bar area, order two Ceasar salads & basket of skinny fries , food was great, basket of chips was massive, went down a treat. Will be back.

Happened on this place by accident after visiting Cawthorne Antiques Centre (see separate review). Small-ish menu but oh boy it's good. Recommend a pint of Moonshine (a local ale) followed by the pulled steak cottage pie (take your pick of the desserts). The fish and...More

We went for a family get-together. Absolutely splendid meals - from the "basics" such as Burger or Fish and Chips to the more innovative choices such as the Hake or Canneloni. The desserts are rather splendid too. Recommended - we anticipated that this could be...More

Excellent service, friendly staff and superb food at reasonable prices. I will certainly go again. I am particular eating out in that I expect better or at least as good as I get at home! What more can I say?

We found this pub out on a countryside drive and it is a gem! Lovely views, nice building and food, while a little on the expensive side was just gorgeous. Definitely will be visiting again and there's a very nice outdoor play area for children.

They have a sample menu online and they have dishes on there that are served continuously. However, the pub does a lot of seasonal menus so it cannot have a set one. I would highly recommend visiting though!
