The place is similar to Chipotle but with more options and a longer bar. Tortillas are made fresh daily and are quite good. They have Horchata which is unusual. Many more items on the many and we had the Wednesday special with Chicken Enchiladas, rice, beans and pico de gallo and its was surprisingly good. Fairly priced at 7.89 with... More

I have always prefered Costa Vida over Cafe Rio. Their food is simlar but for me they are the better restaurant. Their nachos are my favorite becuase you can customize them and not have a gooy mess on the bottom

This is a great quick-service Mexican restaurant. The food is very fresh, and is prepared as you order it. You chose the type of dish you want (Enchilada, Burrito, Salad, etc) and choose the protein, sauce, and garnishes, and it is assembled as you wait. They have a very organized gluten-free kitchen protocol (changing gloves, gluten-free corn tortillas in a... More

I'm from KY, and this was my first experience with this company. Similar line style to Chipotle, you actually have a slightly different selection (with the addition of enchiladas). The cost is more than Chipotle, but the burritos are a little bit larger. I would eat here again.

This was recommended to us by a local, and let's just say I went back there more than once. Try the sweet pork enchiladas... they are delicious. Great food - great value.

New to this "fast casual" chain + was a mall visit convenience. Like the fresh ingredient theme + was pretty good with generous portions. Just the same a little overpriced. I feel like a place like this should have some kind of "value" meal. Probably won't go out of the way to go here again.

They are consistent with good food here. Only neg would be from time to time they seem to be really tight with the amount of stuff in the burritos. I have actually walked out when they have made them so small as to be a bad value.

So after a brief and cold shopping trip at The Gateway Mall we were looking for somewhere to eat. There's lots of choice but the idea of Shrimp Tacos meant that we chose Costa Vida. Well - what can I say. Service was excellent and the staff really helped us out-of-towners out with everything. Especially liked the choices and substitutions... More
