I don't understand the good reviews on this site. I double-checked and it is the same place I ate at today. AWFUL! We ordered the General Chu's chicken. The chicken was weird tasting, like it was thawed out too long and had almost gone bad before it was cooked. It was awful. The Kung Pao was no better. The only... More

My family loves this place! The pot stickers and the walnut shrimp are to die for! My brothers will not go to Salt Lake without eating here.

Average "Chinese" food. Other Chinese restaurants around may not have the location "Davids Kitchen" has, but do have better, authentic Chinese cuisine. If your looking for authentic 'Ethnic' cuisine, try the Thai place that just opened, next door.

I have been eating at Davids for more than 25 years. I 1st discovered them at a party David' s catered. Best Chineses food I had ever eaten! The trick is to 1st order the Pot Stickers. EXCELLANT! If you like your sauce hot, have Henry make make it. Go off the comination menu. Davids best is the Walnut Shrimp... More

We have yet to find even decent Chinese in Utah. Well, not true, we have found one good place... some dive on South State that is scarey to look at but has GREAT Chinese. Davids, on the other hand, is not even in the running. I would not even call it average... or even average for Utah. The food is... More

I have been here a number of times and I really like it. It seems to be a popular place because I have seen local celebreties and government officials there as well. You will need to say "Yes" to the pot stickers. It's their signature item and well worth it. Beyond that, the fare is typical Chinese. Service is interesting.... More

5 stars people? I don't think so, maybe for Utah. Friendly staff and average chinese food. I ordered chicken vegetables in brown sauce, I got light garlic. Tasted a bit bland. The shrimp noodles were ok. Nice large shrimp, ok flavor but a bit greasy. No tea ever offered and no orange slices served with fortune cookie.

I wish I could say the Chinese food is really, really different here, but I can't. I CAN say it is an experience and I find myself going here often and by the looks of it, a lot of other people do as well. I have had mixed responses here at times in terms of service, but this time was... More

Descent food. Family owned and operated with a thief for our waiter. We paid in cash and were acused on our next visit to have Dined and Dashed. We have not returned. Suggest patrons use a credit card only and give their tip to the owner to have it verified.

I arrived at Dave’s kitchen shortly before noon. I had eaten here before (over 5 years ago) and remembered not liking the food quality. After eating here I can honestly say that the food quality has improved. The meal I ordered was ok. Not the type of meal that leaves me desiring to come back for more, but not so... More
