This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Salt Lake! Get there early to avoid long wait times. You cant go wrong with the mole. I hate to admit since expanding it seems the quality has gone down a little but we still enjoy.

Meals are good, the wait for a table is way to long. Atmosphere is enjoyable visually but loud.Tables are rather crouded. This is not the place for a intimate talk with a new friend.

I felt that the atmosphere was welcoming and the food had that authentic flare and was very good. Service was very efficient. Prices were reasonable. I have eaten there on two different occasions with visiting family members and we were not disappointed.

Small place on N. Temple. Plan on waiting outside for a table (they have a heater if it's cold) Everything I've tried there is fantastic. Very authentic Mexican Prices are good & the service quick.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Was not disappointed. Portions are generous. Prices are inexpensive. The place has the expected ambience of a good Tex-Mex restaurant. Credit cards accepted. They don't take reservations for parties under 6 people but the wait was reasonable and they offered free hot apple cider while you wait.

Red Iguana is well-known in SLC and lives up to its word! I went with three other women for a ladies night and we had a blast!! The service was amazing and the margaritas were even better!! I ordered an enchilada plate and it was awesome. My friend had the mole sauce, which is well-known and she said it was... More

I come from a state where good Mexican food is everywhere, and after a year in Utah, I am still sad, I miss the heat, but this place is as close as I can get to home. The atmosphere is nice, the wait can be very long so plan ahead. The food is good, much better than anything else ive... More
