This was recommended to me by the hotel concierge, I went alone while on a business trip and sat outside on the small street patio . The inside of the restaurant was decorated very nicely and modern . Liked the different selections on the menu. Had cauliflour soup and lobster hushpuppies ... Both were okay , nothing special , presented... More

From our perspective our dining experience was very nice. The staff was attentive; food and presentation thereof superb; Moscow Mule and Sangria Sunrise mixed drinks deserved our thumbs-up approval. We sat in a booth - its high backs providing a cozy and private, personal space - near the front of the restaurant. Live music, plenty of natural light through the... More

Bistro 222 is a lovely, upscale restaurant in a prime location on Main St. in Salt Lake City, adjacent to the Gallivan Center Trax station. Service was prompt and attentive, and the menu had a great selection of creative, fusuion-esque dishes. We ordered and had a delightful dinner experience happening, until the entrees arrived. My wife had trout, which wasn't... More

We only had cocktails which were okay. Great Manhattan with the great whiskey but the disappointing cherry

We were in town from out of state and thought from the reviews this place looked like it would be a nice place to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, we experienced some of the worst service we have ever experienced. The French fries were clearly frozen, and the timing of the food was rushed. We hadn't finished our appetizers, and... More

Came here with a group of about 20 for dinner. The menu was quite limited - only chicken dish was fried chicken. The heirloom tomatoes in the salad were kind of nasty. The pasts dish was lacking - only a few vegetables. The appetizers were attractive. This wasn't bad food, it just wasn't great, and the employees didn't seem to... More

Stopped by after hearing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on a Saturday night. Live jazz was nice, my waitress was fun, and the food was very good. Not the cheapest place in town, but very enjoyable.

Great food & great service. I enjoyed the beet salad, lamb meatballs. My daughter enjoyed a seafood pasta. The servers were so helpful in advising us where to catch the train and where to find a pharmacy. The kindest people live in Salt Lake City! Such a pleasure to visit!

Place and personnel are great. Prices were fairly high for what you got. Limited menu with not a lot of standard fare. I just had a hamburger and the wilted lettuce and caramelized onions just made the meal marginal. Colleague had salmon which he liked. Bottom line-in my opinion, there are better places for food with better prices in the... More
