A friend took us to Delicia's. I did not know that this was an authentic "Mexican" restaurant. The atmosphere is indeed that of a restaurant in Mexico. Colorful, charming, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious! The Caldo-soup was so good. I could have made a meal out of the caldo, itself. The tortillas are... More

We hadn't eaten breakfast at Delicias for several years and felt like Mexican, not New Mexican, so we headed over this morning. The atmosphere is still lovely with colorful chairs, tables and booths. The menu is basically unchanged but what has changed, are the prices. Most breakfasts are on average, $9 which is on the high side for Mexican cuisine... More

The service was OK, the food was OK, the time it took to receive our order was likewise OK. Everything was normal, within the realm of the ordinary. Just an average dining experience.

The food was really good. I had Tacos de Tripitas. Although the tripitas themselves were a little too crispy for me, they were good. The tortillas seem like they are homemade. They served my dish with a side of rice and beans. A small bowl of caldo de res was brought out beforehand. It was delicious! The chips and corn... More

One of the well hidden restaurant In Albuquerque. Delicias has authentic delicious Mexican food. the portons are huge and the prices are great. It's a bit off of the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Our dinners were served hot, tasted great and more than we could eat, It is small and run by a family, I believe. Try... More

Recommended by a local of Mexican descent, since I thoroughly enjoy Mexican cuisine, he stated Delicias Cafe was authentic. Therefore, it was a must for this South Carolina traveler to sample the good eats. Sure enough, although I wouldn't be able to discern the difference between authentic or not, it was simple to discern that the food was excellent, the... More

Don't let the cheap looking strip mall location fool you. This is excellent Mexican food. Everything is fresh. Even the tortillas are made in-house. Having arrived in ABQ after a very early morning flight from LA, we wanted a breakfast dish and settled on chilaquiles, which were wonderful--plenty of flavor, some spice, and lots of fresh flour and corn tortillas.... Good food and excellent service! My favorite is their red chile enchiladas and posole. The place was clean and friendly staff.
