We thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch & visit with Mick. My wife has celiac disease, and Mick was most accommodating. He advised us exactly what she could eat, then finished a few orders before cleaning the grill so our orders would be totally gluten free. My wife ordered a glass of Gruet sparkling wine, and Mick offered me a craft... More

This restaurant is a sports bar and grill with the attendant atmosphere. Large flat screen TV everywhere, focus on efficient service at a reasonable cost. We had one of the two for $$$ meals and from appetizer to entree all was great for the cost. We were in and out quickly which suited our agenda. The facility was clean, service... More

We stopped by the Sandia Chile Grill on a whim after reading about it in ABQ Magazine. After reading the review, I was kinda shocked at how small and informal the place turned out to be but we tried it anyway. A gentlemen we took as the owner greeted us warmly and explained the menu since we're new to the... More

Went with my wife, reviews said was a good place, is to small, owner is obnoxious. I had the braut sandwich was dry, no taste and on a cold bun. When I looked at the bill looked like I was over charged, but you can't tell. We both got IPA, was not cold and did not taste like an IPA.... More

Our party thought both the red and green sauces were way good, reasonably priced, unpretentious - just good food.

I really enjoying avoiding chain restaurants when I can and supporting local establishments. We're lucky in Albuquerque that we have lots of good options. Sandia Chile Grill definitely falls in that category. Small place, but large menu, wonderful people, and now craft beer. I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't comment on that. However, I am a burrito eater... More

We loved this Mom and Pop place. We used to go to their previous location years ago. Their food is fresh. You can watch the cook making your meal,so be prepared to wait a bit while they are cooking your meal. Believe me,it is worth the short wait. We went on a Friday and I had the special, cheese enchiladas with... More

We love this place. Large made to order burritos fresh from the grill. Craft beer made on site by a couple of really friendly guys that love making, drinking and talking about beer. Family owned and ran business. Husband loves the Junkyard Dog while I love the Deer Hunter. When we lived there, we ate there at lest one time... More

We found Sandia Grill through an on-line coupon offer and were very glad that we took the chance to try it. It's a small place where one orders from a large menu hanging at the back of the counter. There are many burrito offerings and most are offered in small and large. Huevos Rancheros is the other breakfast item. My... More

Sandia Chile Grill is a "hole in the wall" restaurant located in a strip mall in the far northeast heights of Albuquerque. It's not impressive from either the outside or the inside, but don't let appearances dissuade you. The menu is New Mexican food. It's very tasty, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. We left filled and satisfied.
