Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday afternoon. Food was very good. Service was also good. I'd eat here again.

I don't normally go in for breakfast it just has not been my favorite meal of the day. I have been pleasantly surprised by the breakfast at the Gold St. Café. I recently within the last year or so changed my eating habits and am now a vegetarian. I have found it difficult to find fare that I can enjoy... More

We enjoyed our breakfast here. I had one called the Cowboy... It's a "breakfast sandwich" of eggs, ham, and a 'schmeer' of mascarpone in their green chile cheese biscuit. And we liked the biscuits so much that we stopped by on our way out of town to get a box of 6 for the road. Salsa's good, too. **They request... More

Albuquerque has been growing up. No longer just for outdoor living in a high desert climate, its ever-expanding population today supports an urban core with urban experiences. On a cold winter’s late afternoon, you can visit an art gallery (516 Arts) whose showings would not be out of place in Chelsea, proceed on foot to the Gold Street Caffe, a... More

A neighbor of our wanted to share this place with us because he thought it would remind us of our home town, San Francisco. He was right . . . and live music (guitar and saxophone players) made it even better. It's located right downtown, about a block from the Farmer's Market. It doesn't look big enough to do the... we stopped in here on the way to the airport. We were 15 minutes early for lunch and breakfast was still bein served. We asked if we could wait for lunch and the staff were more than happy to accomodate us. I ordered the BLT which was advertised as a must have. That turned out to be correct. The best... More

Offered in the weekends only- the eggs Benedict for breakfast are amazing. The green chile English muffin makes the meal. It's piquant and the perfect consistency. My brother gets their fruit-topped waffles every visit. He says they are some of the best in town. Their red-chile rubbed bacon is delicious. This is a tiny restaurant that fills up quickly on... I'm not sure if this is one of the best spots in the city, but it is one of my favorites near work. The food is good. The sandwiches are tasty, great bread, and the soups are great. They always have one soup that is vegetarian, and they're willing to turn some of their sandwich offerings into salads. The prices... More

My girlfriend discovered the Gold Street Caffe about 6 months ago and loved it, so she had to take me there. Since then we have eaten there about 6 times, once for lunch and the rest for breakfast, and have enjoyed it every time. The location is nice, as it is less congested compared to being on Central Ave, but... More
