I had the chili rellenos, which I've been wanting since I currently live in Oregon. Lots of cheese. Chiles were milder than I expected as was the green chile sauce. If you want real New Mexican chile rellenos, I wouldn't recommend here. But if you want good solid Mexican food, then it's a fine choice

This place was recommended to us by a local. It was good food and alot of it for the price. Our server was very quick and efficient until after we were done eatting. We had to go look for her to receive our bill. But we both did enjoy our meal very much

Restaurant is quaint and has a traditional feel. The food is above par. The service and attention to details go far beyond most restaurants in this price category.

My son ate at Little Anita's. He lives in Tucson and likes spicy food. His food was so spicy he couldn't eat any of it.

Thank you for the review, Mary. We're sorry to hear the food was too spicy - our New Mexican green and red chile certainly has a kick! If you're not used to it, we recommend asking for it on the side to start with. Our apologies again for the experience, we hope you'll give us another chance next time you're... More

The food was good and the price was right. However, the tables were sticky and dirty and restrooms needed to be cleaned.

Our very first time eating here. We each ordered something different. We all were very satisfied with the food. The portions. The quality. Even ordered the fried ice cream to share 3 ways for dessert. The server Matthew I believe is what was on our receipt was exceptional. He made the dining experience. If ever in the area we will... I have seen this place before but had not tried them until now.....the green chili tasted good and had an average heat kick to it which was fine for me since I'm not trying to lose taste buds while eating dinner....my loves their so papillary... Description
For a taste of grandma's cooking and a bit of homemade comfort, come to Little Anita's, which has been serving authentic New Mexican food for over 40 years. Named after the founder's mother, and based on family recipes handed down for generations, Little Anita's is an Albuquerque institution. Our iconic flagship restaurant, in the heart of Old Town, is beloved by locals and a must-visit for any tourist. You haven't been to Albuquerque if you haven't eaten at Little Anita's. Our menu hasn't changed much in the last four decades, and we're proud of it. In a fast-moving world, our restaurants are an oasis of tradition and sentimental cooking. When it comes to our signature dishes, we like to keep things simple. We believe in the purity of our ingredients and keep a clean flavor profile. You won't find your food overloaded with seasoning and your taste buds won't be overwhelmed with spiciness. Our chile tastes like chile. You know a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa. Have a seat, take a few bites and find out why so many regulars say, "you had me at chips and salsa." Yes, it's that good.
