I make my own red Chile, so I am picky. This has good flavor, not a lot of heat. Nice people, good value. I usually get breakfast burrito, or the nachos with shredded chicken. Generous portions, always good friendly serviceMore

I grew up on this food. The portions are smaller and the quality of the sopapillias is depressing. They were barely fried. I hope when i return to town something changes.

This location is small, but so worth it. The staff is very friendly, the portions are great, the prices are reasonable and the food is DELICIOUS!

The food is good and the staff friendly. Good prices and daily specials. I like to go by on the way home from work and pick up some great Mexican food.

During our routine meetings in Albuquerque, our group always goes to lunch at Little Anitas. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the serving sizes are very big. A routine for me is to have the combo plate which comes with a tamale,...More

I was disappointed....I thought was going OUT to dinner with my family @ the Isletta / rio bravo location. I found a very small service area, has about 4 or 5 tables to eat at, plastic silverware had to be used to try to scoop...More

I base some of my experience with how clean a restaurant is and this had absolutely filthy bathrooms. Also their salsa tasted like it was out of jar like picante. Which I am not use to mexican restaurants in Albuquerque having canned salsa. I ordered...More

Whenever I go back to Albuquerque, there are several things on my must-do list. High on the list is visiting Little Anita's for a Carne Adovada breakfast burrito with red (chile, that is). None of the locations are what you would call a premire dining...More

For a taste of grandma's cooking and a bit of homemade comfort, come to Little Anita's, which has been serving authentic New Mexican food for over 40 years. Named after the founder's mother, and based on family recipes handed down for generations, Little Anita's is an Albuquerque institution. Our iconic flagship restaurant, in the heart of Old Town, is beloved by locals and a must-visit for any tourist. You haven't been to Albuquerque if you haven't eaten at Little Anita's. Our menu hasn't changed much in the last four decades, and we're proud of it. In a fast-moving world, our restaurants are an oasis of tradition and sentimental cooking. When it comes to our signature dishes, we like to keep things simple. We believe in the purity of our ingredients and keep a clean flavor profile. You won't find your food overloaded with seasoning and your taste buds won't be overwhelmed with spiciness. Our chile tastes like chile. You know a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa. Have a seat, take a few bites and find out why so many regulars say, "you had me at chips and salsa." Yes, it's that good.
