This was a small little bakery/lunch or snack shop popular with locals but too hidden apparently for many visitors to find. We were disappointed to hear that the owner has closed the business but reopen elsewhere. There really is no other place to buy pastries-to-go in Old Town.

Oh my goodness, I walked in expecting to see displays full of goodies and there are two pastries in this place what the?! Then the lady puts cold really old brownies out for us to taste. Not even good makes you want nothing. My poor parents ordered a very expensive very plain turkey sandwich with very dark disgusting old iced... More

Cute name, but it's lacking in selections. Same ole, same ole. I was expecting something a little more unique. The pastries are just average. I would take a "pass" on this one.

Had a delicious brownie and cookie here--enough to recommend it despite so-so coffee and a proprietor who looked like he deeply resented customers intruding on him! Still, you don't really go to a bakery to find your soul mate, do you? So go, grab a brownie and get coffee somewhere else.

The place looked a bit run down, but the breakfast sandwiches and morning pastries were good and reasonably priced. Good selection of hot teas. The baker had to keep running back and forth between the counter and the ovens. He could use some help out front.

I just happened by when the baker was in the kitchen baking for the day and he stopped to make me a quick tuna sandwich on green chili cornbread - so good! I appreciated his skill at doing so many things at once and still taking time to serve me. It is all delicious and a lovely escape on your... More

One of those times I could give three and a half stars. I had the roadrunner which was basically turkey, Swiss with green chile peppers with chips. The sandwich was good but the options of pasta or potato salad were not available leading to settle for chips. The cinnamon rolls looked great but we didn't try any to say one... More

In contrast to many posts here it seems, we found this cafe to be excellent. We both had the soup and half sandwich special. The soup of the day, a thick, creamy chicken loaded with chicken pieces was excellent, and the sandwiches (I had roast beef and mustard) was very good. Didn't try any of the cakes or pastries so cannot... More

Also when I was there there were 4 people... More
