I always love getting updates on the specials going on at Vita Cucina. I have my go to favorite items on the menu like the BLT and Caesar or Greek salads, but it's the specials that make my lunch life ever changing! The meatloaf sandwich with potato bread is one of the recent delights I encountered. Yum!

Not what I expected from all the great reviews. This place is more like a deli. We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and there were 5 people working busily in the kitchen. There was a constant stream of customers. We had an amazing pasta salad and the best sandwich I've had all year. Remember to get a baked goodie... More

The best place for fresh food in Crescent City. Small but clean and friendly. There is not a lot to choose from in Crescent City....good baked goods, I really loved the bran muffins!

I stopped in here for a dinner to take back to my hotel room. Everything is made fresh. I ordered a chicken Calzone and it was really good. Made fresh takes awhile, so next time I'm going through Crescent City I'll call ahead. Also, they didn't give me any utensils or napkins. I think mostly locals eat here. But, give... More

You order at the counter and there is a small area to sit in if you prefer to dine in rather than carry out. My Mediterranean salad with chicken was okay but had mostly the backs of Romaine lettuce rather than the leafy part and dark meat for chicken. Vegetarian chili was good and came with a corn muffin.

We were spending the day just being tourist in this section of CA and wanted a healthy option that hopefully was also tasty. I looked on TripAdvisor and this was #1 and we were so close that we just had to try it out. It was fantastic. We all ordered something different and tried a little bit of our 3... More

Delicious and fresh! We had the breakfast burrito and they catered to my kids who are really picky. They had the yogurt parfait and a breakfast burrito with eggs and cheese. The quiche was amazing as well. We grabbed pastries to go-can't wait to try them. Staff was friendly and fast! Thank you Vita Cucina!

Stopped here for lunch on the way to eureka. Probably one of the better options in crescent city, we saw only fast food places elsewhere and the city itself doesn't offer much. Had the day soup which was good, a pastrami sandwich and a falafel wrap. Everything is freshly prepared but the wait is not very long. Food was ok,... More

Everything is delicious! I come in on every visit to Crescent City. I love the ahi tuna sandwich. The homemade clam chowder is outstanding. Make sure to buy a pecan-chocolate-chip-coconut-oats cookie! They are addicting!

Culinary Institute of America trained chefs/owners Devon & Michelle Morgante. We love to cook and bake everything from Michelle’s quiches, morning glory and bran muffins baked daily to my house cured and smoked pastrami, ham, turkey and bacon. We bake all of our own breads: focaccia for our turkey, Cuban, breakfast sandwiches and specials; I also bake what we call an artisan loaf which is slightly sour and a sour dough loaf that is made from a starter I created using blackberries from my backyard. The menu change weekly and reflects the cravings of the cooks. On Thursdays and Fridays nights after 4:00 pm we serve pizzas. Top your pizza pie with some of our homemade topping like: pesto, garlic white sauce, sausage (yes, I grind my own sausages), roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, smoked chicken, roasted pork and locally made Rumiano cheese. Thank you for your time
