Ate here once for a business meeting. I was so impressed I wanted to take my family back to enjoy it. The "menu" is a chalkboard that changes daily. Wait staff brings it over and walks you through the day's options. I highly recommend you go with the chefs plate. Chef randomly pics three of the menu items and puts... More

This is my go to place when visiting the Old Pueblo. I've been coming here for over 20 years. Some of the best margaritas and food you will find anywhere in the US. Usually very busy so would recommend making a reservation. While dining go out of your comfort zone and try something different. You won't be disappointed.

Visiting old friends from Raleigh NC who moved to Tucson and were told about this restaurant from someone hiking on the Sabina Canyon trail - great tip! Someone wrote a review about the food being bland - I have no clue as to what they ordered but all four of us ordered the chef's special ($27) and all were very... More

Fantastic food, great margaritas. Try the Plato created by the Chef with three items. It won't disappoint.

I went here without reservations and the host was kinda snooty about me even being there and made it sound like I would never get in unless someone that had reservations didn't show up. But another lady, possibly the manager, spoke up and said "we'll get you in, just wait at the bar for a few minutes." After a short... More

You must have reservations for starters. Locally owned by the female chef. Menu changes daily depending upon what is available and in season. Menu comes around on a chalkboard that is in spanish, your server will help you. Food is fresh, creative, and a ton of it on your plate. Well worth the value. Half of your plate, no matter... More

Dimly lit,so you can't even read the drink menu. Menu board the server read seemed redundant and unimaginative. The plates we saw at other tables were overwhelmed with kale...kind of like an elaborate inedible doily. Left after a drink. We were here a couple of years ago for lunch and had good memories, guess we'll stick with that.

This is a restaurant serving Mexico City cuisine with a flair. The menu changes two times a day and the plates are a work of art when they arrive with the main dish and salad on them. The beans, rice and tortillas are served separately. If you order the plato - the chef chooses the three entrees on your plate... More

I chose the restaurant based on reading about it and proximity to other bars and restaurants should we need to bail quickly. The format is odd; chips and salsa, no hors douevres. 3 or 4 entrees and then a sampling of entree options. The menu is on a chalkboard which the server holds and rattles off way too fast with... We got lucky and got a seat just before closing while nearby. There is no printed menu, just the nightly menu on a chalkboard. I had an amazing red mole chicken that was tender and so flavorful. I seriously wanted to lick the plate. The big salad and jicama slaw that came with it kept the meal guilt free. Beans,... More
