On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, we stopped by this restaurant after a day hike in Saguaro National Park. We were surprised at the number of people waiting to get a seat. We were greeted by a happy guy who took our name and offered us a cold beer. We enjoyed looking around at the pictures of numerous celebrities who've eaten... More

What a great restaurant. We had a 45 minute wait and it was well worth the authentic Mexican fare. The service was excellent and the portions are so big I wished we shared a dinner. We really enjoyed the décor and servers. It is a family friendly restaurant and you could tell there were many "regulars" in the restaurant. When... More

Very good Mexican food. They serve only beef no pork. Excellently prepared and very tasty. Long wait but well worth it. We all ordered different dishes and all were excellent. Serving are large. Plenty of food even for a large eater

This was recommended by friends that live in Tucson. We loved it. Great food, a local favorite. We had a 45 min wait on a Wednesday around 6:30, and it was packed. The frozen margaritas are really frozen, which is great! I suggest you plan on a wait, as everyone says this is the case, but it is well worth... More

Wife and I went here. Waited forever for what I felt was average standard Mexican food. Had a combo that tasted much like a hundred other Mexican places I have been to. Nothing great but not bad either. Why the hype?

After reading the many excellent reviews, hearing about the long lines to get in and finding out that Bill Clinton had lunch at this restaurant my wife and I would have thought the food would have tasted somewhat better. Don’t get me wrong, the cheese tostada (I know it as a cheese crisp from visiting other Mexican restaurants) was excellent!... More

Spent three days in Tucson and on a Sunday afternoon we discovered this restaurant after searching online and reading reviews. Not a huge parking lot, but with lucky timing we pulled into the only spot available. Good crowd waiting inside, took about 30 minutes to get our table, but the wait was minimized by placing an order for a tamarindo... More

The food was great. I had the president plate. The tamale, chile relleno and enchilada were very delicious. The best Mexican food I've had in a while. The strawberry margaritas were amazing.
