We eat here every few months and the food is quite consistent. It has menu items not often found in Tucson. They seem to be able to customize dishes and the quality is high.

We ate here in past years and found the food interesting and different. Earlier this year we tried again but found the food bland, uninspired and just not that good. Although the choices for Malasian cuisine in Tucson are limited, this restaurant didn't take advantage of its unique possibilities and just didn't put together a memorable meal. Boring and not... The more the merrier. Thanks to the large round table with lazy susy we can taste each other dish easily. We tasted many different things: lettuce wraps, pot stickers & mussels to start, then Mongolian pork, curry beef, masak mera tofu, lo-mein, basil chicken, etc. The cook is a real chef!

One of my dearest friends is Malaysian and she turned me onto Seri Melaka some years back, it is now called Neo of Melaka. The decor has been updated recently, it is beautiful inside. The menu is classic and always tasty with great lunch specials, the smells of the cuisine coming from the kitchen is enticing. One of my favorite... More

Malaysian and Chinese food with home cooked taste in an uninspired room (drab) makes this restaurant a welcome choice.

When I was in Amsterdam last year, a friend took me to dinner at a Malaysian Restaurant in the Red Light District. That was the first time I had ever eaten Malaysian. On Friday night, my boyfriend and I went to dinner at a Malaysian Restaurant here in Tucson, imagine that. Neo of Melaka is the only Malaysian restaurant in... More

My husband and I have eaten at Seri Melaka since it first opened. Since moving away from Tucson, we stop in every time we visit. The food and service has always been excellent. On 12/18/09 (Friday evening) we arrived at the restaurant at 6:45 PM only to find it empty except for two tables with approximately 6 people at each,... More

I went to Seri Melaka with my family about a month ago. It looked like an average Asian restaurant from the outside. We ordered for a few dishes, including two orders of Fried Rice, and a Malay favorite: Laksa. The food was beyond excellent. Every dish is filled with coconut flavor. The one horrible thing however is the cost! If... More
