Monterey Court is a "Gem in the Desert" here in Tucson. From their wait staff (Frank our server was friendly, checked on us often and everything he recommended was spot on) to the menu, the music..the atmosphere is wonderful! Their artisan shops are a must see with creative clothing, jewelry and other crafts. Sitting outdoors enjoying a beer and listening... More

Saw an ad for music and decided to visit. The food was 50/50, mussels were skimpy, menu sald 3/4 pound, but it seemed half that amount on the plate. The crab cakes were good. Arnold Palmer ice tea was a disaster. Nice ambiance, but food and music should be better. Meal was toppled off with a disappearing waitress. After waiting... More

Kelly McLear & Greg Haver have worked hard to accomplish something unique at Monterey Court on Miracle Mile. They have restored a historic motor inn; revamped the courtyard into a first class entertainment center, transformed the casitas (motel rooms) into unique shops, AND, established a small restaurant with a reasonably priced menu. The Tuesday thru Sunday evening musical entertainment is... More

Was introduced to the lovely little watering hole last night by my BFF. This is one of the best reuses of an old motel ever! The food and drinks were terrific (love that many of the items are named after the other old hotels along Miracle Mile), service great, and talented band! According to my friend this is becoming a... Unique experience to have dinner outside in a 1937 "motor court" and listen to a balalaika rock band playing gypsy and blue grass tunes. The location is full of retro charm. There are small shops (formerly the guest rooms), which are open in the evening and carry local artwork, jewelry and crafts. Some tables are family style and some are... More

What more can you ask for. My wife and I have eaten here 3 times in the past month and have never been disappointed in the food. The Ahi Tuna, Shrimp Scampi and Smoked Salmon Bruschetta appetizer were especially delicious. There is a variety of live music nightly in an outdoor covered courtyard surrounded by small artisans shops. The music... More

After at least 5 attempts at several different dishes.......all were consistently awful. Every meal was left uneaten. The kitchen needs serious help.

Kelly and her husband created a great concept of converting a classic Southwestern Motel into a courtyard of small shops with a Cafe, Art, Retail, and Music.

This is a wonderful venue. Lunch outdoors under shade or in the evening with different music every night but Mondays. One should make a reservation. Service can be slow but the bar is quick. Be prepared for a leisurely meal enjoying the music. Bands are great. Dancing too. Did I say shops are open in the evening? Really great artisans... More

Great music venue also like the few little shops they have. The drinks take a long time to arrive, better to go tttto the bar. Never eaten there
