First time visit for us travelers to Tucson. If you're looking for old west charm, I don't see how you could do better than the Hotel Congress and The Cup Cafe. We went for breakfast on a Friday and sat outside. Making the choice of what to order was really tough - everything on the menu looked great and the... More

Do you want Fish N Chips in Tucson? Cup Cafe is a go-to. You really can't go wrong with most dishes at "The Cup," as it's affectionately referred to by most Tucsonans. I've had steak, salmon, lamb....you name it. I've never been disappointed. Make reservations if you want to be sure of a table, especially during busy weekend breakfast hours.... More

I have to admit I enjoyed the quirkiness and history of this place more than the food. It was alright, but not special. I actually spent a good deal of time reading the articles and looking at the pictures of local history in the hallway leading to the restroom. There were 4 of us for dinner. Each of us enjoyed... Tucson lore has it that the Hotel Congress (where Cup Cafe is located) was the site of the demise of gangster John Dillinger. Memorabilia commemorating this event adorns the walls of the hotel. This a is a great downtown Tucson experience! My wife and I celebrated Christmas Eve here and it was a cozy, clubby atmosphere. The menu is comprehensive... More

We ate breakfast there today and I have to say that the food was amazing. The service was outstanding as well. It is a bit of a bohemian hangout. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

It's hard to find a nice place in Tucson open on Christmas Day and we were pleased to finf the Cup Cafe open. They stated no shows would be charged $40 and said their were two specials and the regular menu. Our fault was mot realizing that the regular menu was a breakfast-lunch menu. We were not told that the... More

The lobby is a big and open area. Then you go down in to the cafe, which is set up pretty cute! They serve alcohol as well as coffee. I had a create your own omelette and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend The Cup Cafe to anyone in Downtown Tucson!

Great location in a historic hotel. The atmosphere is worth something here. However, we had just finished a long bike tour and not sure what we wanted order fish and chips. Nothing fancy, my wife eats them everywhere and they are something that can be judged pretty easy. This fish should be white, flaky and tasty, not under cooked or... More

Interesting hotel lobby and the breakfast area was well designed. Staff was courteous and food selection was excellent. Very good americano coffee. Prices were fair and no complaints. A good place to have breakfast.
